#Yugoslavia purchased its first batch i.e 41 units of #MiG-21 f13 (Type 74) in 1962 from the Soviet Union. The Yugoslav #MiG21 F-13 airplanes were marked as L-12 and carried the registration numbers #22501 to 22541. The actual aircraft of this #Trumpeter replica scaled to 1/48 with s/n 22501 was delivered to Yugoslavia on September 14th, 1962. It served within the 204th fighter-aviation regiment at #Batajnica Air Base and the 117th fighter-aviation regiment at #Željava Air Base. On October 10th, 1970 it crashed killing Maj. Ivan Gavrić.

Самолёт МиГ-21 не был окрашен, т.е. его цвет - это цвет натурального аллюминия. Откуда там выгорание краски????
