Once again, I needed to hear this. PERMISSION- I’m not allowing myself to focus on the process rather, I’m focused on the perfect result; this only makes me doubt and question my art
This is good information re: experimentation. I had asked a question on one of your prior knowledge dump videos where you touch on experimentation and you were not forthcoming. You're busy, I get it. We all are. So I thought about what you said and came to the conclusion that experimentation meant whatever I want it to mean. I went into my studio after this realization and dedicated a new painting to be the "experimental" painting. The one I have fun with before I go and work on more substantial works in progress. Suffice to say, all my pieces are now experimental. I also think your suggestion to do a series is spot on... Thank you Nick for sharing your knowledge. Even though I've never had the time or financial resources to take one of your classes or travel to one of your retreats, the knowledge you impart through youtube has been of a great value to me. Much appreciated. I can sense that I finally know my direction in my art for the 1st time in 20 years. Cheers, Mitch
Sorry I missed your question, but so glad you are finding some helpful information! Have you signed up for the free workshop yet? I know not everyone can get to do a paid workshop, so I release a free one every year. Hope you can join! workshop.art2life.com/cvp-2020-free-workshop/
Such good info here.....wish the video and audio would have recorded better, a lot of it was pixelated and frozen. Any chance of covering this topic again with better reception?
My new mission. Yippee. Thank you 😊 💓

So positive and generous. Thanks.

This so interesting, unfortunately some portions are pixelating.
I missed the workshop in February. Will you be doing another one?
I love your classes , live in Africa Cape Town ....... do you have a book or books I can learn from please
I loved what you were saying, but the auto made it difficult to hear you.
Interesting but some sections are inaudible.
Oops...I meant "audio"...
