I forgot to include these in the video: STATICS: 6.5/10 I had a pretty good professor and this is an introductory course so it wasn’t too bad. MECHANICS OF MATERIALS: 9.5/10 This class was the hardest class I took during undergrad. I think a lot of it is they already expect you to know so much since you already took statics, and I found the material to be challenging. THERMODYNAMICS: 6/10. This was an introductory course so they make an effort to establish a good foundation. I thought it was interesting so maybe that helped more. Follow my IG @aubripvideos to learn more!
Hi! I'm romanian and i am studying IE specialized in Inteligent Industrial Technologies and honestly we dont do 80% of the subjects you talked about. We de liniar algebra, analitical and differential geometru, numerical methods, calculus and statistics and prob as maths. Physics, materials science, material technologies 1&2,mechanics of materials 1&2, computer programming 1,2&3, applied programming, mechanisms, mechanical organs 1&2, welding and mechanical works, techical reports, tolerances and control, control sistems, assembly technologies, finite element analysis, sensors and iot, reconditioning of mechanical sistems etc. The only things similar to what you said that we do are Quality control 1&2, waste management and safety and security. What you are describing sounds more like an Economic Industrial Engineering degree as they do little technical subjects. I know i am late but i was surprised as to how diffrent the curriculum is. I have never heard of Graat diagrams or many of the statistics and simulation programs you mentioned😅
Your videos are really helpful, this year I have finished my second semester of Industrial engineering. Next year I am going to take more specific subjects about the career :)
Don’t do biomed. I have a friend with a biomed degree and he works as a mechanical engineer and mechanical engineers can easily take your job. My friend does not recommend biomed. Definitely choose industrial.
@@christinequinajon8727 I'm about to graduate and after my HS biomed course, I dropped it and I'm choosing between IE and electrical. IE is definitely much easier compared to EE and has a lot of job opportunities.
Can I be an animator with an industrial engineering degree like i want a career i can be creative in and also smart. I would also like to creat toys phone cases, phones, like arts and crafts things but also l would like if the career has maths in it.I would to create things but not like cars and stuff.
@@Naledi_the_star_of_the_show industrial design is more art oriented but still practical. Industrial engineering is very math business oriented like quality control , lean manufacturing etc.
Hi Devin! So as an IE you will most likely have to take a physics 1 and 2. Then apart from that you will prob have to take Statics and Mechanics of Materials. These are typically Mechanical Engineering classes but are physics based and a lot of schools require theirs IEs to take them. Pleaseee don’t let these intimidate you though. If you really want to become an IE, GO FOR IT. You can get through these classes even if they are not your strongpoints.

Thank you so much for this video. I am enrolling to IE program in this semester, and this video gave me the basic overview of this program.
I'm currently a high school sophomore and I plan to go into industrial engineering, so this was very informative! Thxxx
Thank you! I’ll be making another video where I go in depth into the IE specific classes! Follow @aubripvideos on IG to stay tuned 🤗
omg same i’m also a hs sophomore
Great video! I would love a video on your job search and specific possible careers after graduating.
Thank you so much for this. I will take IE for college 😁😁
Props to you on doing this video! Super helpful :D
Me gustó mucho tu video, espero ver el próximo vídeo
Gracias
love this!!!

I'm an undergrad student of ie too, just wanted to know what were the topics you've learned on operation research?
Your video is so helpful. I am about to study IE but I don’t have a science background… do you have any tips to help

Your videos are very helpful! Thank you so much. What programs do we have to know as IE majors?
I’m making a video where I speak on this. Stay tuned!
