I'm still sad for Chiko, she still seems scared and out of her element...but Jun seems so excited to finally have a chimp companion again after all this time. He's being incredibly sweet with her, letting her approach him at her own pace rather than doing the usual male dominance stuff. Hopefully she'll settle in and the two can become friends. What a sweet boy.
Chiko seems to be getting used to her new home. I am happy she and Jun are able to be a little more comfortable with each other. Yes she is. About not becoming friends, Chiko got along with everyone.It took me a while to learn about Chiko because her Chimpin was on point! She got along with everyone!
Everything is correct. Chiko was brought up in a large group in a large area and taught to get food on her own, while Jun was brought up by people and accustomed to eat only what is given to him. According to Tama's rules, you can eat everything that surrounds you, except for what is guarded by an electric fence. Since there are no electric fences in this zoo, therefore Chiko intends to eat everything that surrounds her.😁

Chiko sitting down in that drainage water all the time eating her poop is not good at all ... Was this before Cherry got there? Because I know when she first got there she lost so much weight and almost looked like she was going to die any day, and obviously here Chico is eating bark and pine needles which they only eat if they're starving 0 because there are absolutely no nutritional value at all. Was this before they started feeding them right?
Great video. Sweet and unusual male-female relationship without the typical overwhelming male dominance attacks. Is something wrong with Jun’s left forearm? It looks like it was broken or is it just his hair puffed out?
I know, I might have to stop myself from watching anymore of these. I can’t help but put myself in her shoes, and think of how I would cope with being taken from my big family, my beautiful, spacious home, and put in a cardboard box with some random human… needless to say, I don’t think I’d be doing well at all. On the Twitter zoo page, Jun and Chiko are right beside each other and another picture Chiko is using the anthill. She's been there a month now, so I think we are seeing 1st days, not how it is now.

I was that person who mentioned it and I was told by staff at zoo that Jun doesn't mate. I wish he could and maybe it will take a Cherry to teach him, we all know and have seen her in estrus

粛々と2人の仲が近くなってきて、静かに見守っていた最後の最後に感動のラストシーンで涙腺崩壊です。😂ニューシネマパラダイスのラストみたいな感じです。皆が幸せでありますようにと心の中で祈りました。それにしても、チコさんの松の食べっぷりからそのうち浜松ZOOがハゲ松ＺOOになりそうです。😆

以前いた父親のジョニーはディスプレイが激しく雌に当たりが厳しい時もありました。
比べると相性の良さもあってかジュンは優しいですね。
チンパンジーの同居は荒れ模様が前提ですが平和的だと眺めている方は安心出来ます。
かなり野生味溢れていたそうですね。
動物園ですから平和に暮らせるのが一番ですね。
この動画が撮影されている頃に浜松市動物園に行っていました。
他の類人猿たちも含めて長期に渡って撮影されているので私は類人猿研究所さんとすれ違っていたのかなと思ってしまいます。
他の施設に関しても密着した内容で凄いですね。

@@troycote4503 Chimpenzees can eat almost all plants, with the exception of poisonous ones. It all depends on their taste preferences.

He was attacked by an adult chimpanzee when he was a child and suffered a severe injury to his arm. His arm was surgically reattached.

The keeper here confirmed that Jun's semen was on Chieko's buttocks.
