- Ten-hut! Today, we’re taking a dive and ranking all of Sonya Blade’s finishers across all of the Mortal Kombat games. We’re going to see how much variation the Special Forces major has when it comes to finishing them. Which finisher is the best? Which one is the worst? I assume your going to do Raiden after Kano, because everyone so far has been from MK1. But as someone who's first MK game was MK2, I would love a Kung Lao or Jax list. As always love the list, keep up the good work! 👍

Sonya Blade is character that becomes better each game she appears,giving her more humanity and a caring side that the other games fails to do,but just because she soft to Johnny,Cassie,Jax,Jacqui,and many others,doesn't mean she lost her brutal touch and what can I say we all love her for that( the only nitpick I have with Sonya in MK11 isn't the voice because at least it's solid,but rather her primary costume color,in my opinion Sonya should always have a green uniform,it fits she alot better that's why I'm collecting it in the game and Cassie fits better with blue or black with a little bit of yellow),all in all this was a good ranked list video and agree with everything,especially the last 5 fatalities(also fun fact Sonya and Tanya are actually a homage of Ed Boon's sisters)and the final one being in her MK 1995 skin is freaking brilliant,I knew Kano was next because of the rivalry with members of the Special Forces and it will be interesting what's you have in plan in mind,like this disgusting A-hole scumbag said to a Shokan,"Slip on it with me,and let's Dance".
You make a lot of great points there. I do agree and how they make her rough around the edges then turns into a caring wife and mother. Sure Rhonda wasn't the best voice actor, but it didn't taint my experience with MK11. Also, I just had to include the Bridgette Wilson skin (note the variation name). I hope you're looking forward to the next episode and I'm happy we could agree with the ranking!
@@the_NNPW Yeah,as much as I'm in a bad spot with NRS for what they did with MK11,I got to say Sonya's development is one of their best works with the franchise and the movie skin makes it a 100 times better(plus she's returning in Battle of the Realms and for what we got so far she still got it,only 2 more weeks to go),and don't worry I'm so excited that will be there,but I'm a patient creature so I can wait
Well last game did dirt on it. Weird voice actin. They cannot balanced attractive and commendar at save time.

Yeesss!! I loved the ranking, I love Sonya's Kiss fatalities and the scissor torso splits!! But I think my favorite fatality of hers is the chopper fatality from mk11!! Also in mk11 she got her kiss fatality recreated as a brutality and I think that might be my favorite version of that klassic Fatality!

I'm very glad they moved away from the kiss-based fatalities in later games, especially as Sonya became more of the no-nonsense military character she's always seemed to be intended to be. It was pretty weird to remember that a lot of Kitana's early fatalities were kisses too (with even more bizarre effects). I'm very glad they're letting the ladies do something else these days 🤣

It may have placed lower on this list but Sonya’s MK Deadly Alliance Fatality was my favourite Fatality in that game. The mist causing them to start barfing was a unique addition and then they go down to their hands and knees and start barfing blood only to have her stomp them and their head pops like a grape was awesome. I think the barfing sounds is what really makes it what it is.

Number 11 is more of a Hitman fatality, because that game actually has a fiber wire you can garrote people with. MGS just has knives, tasers, and CQC.

Fun fact 6:19 is actually the EXACT fatality reused in the MK movie (scorpions revenge)
Also I suggest making one for every modern character (Geras Cetrion Dvorah Erron Black Kotal Kahn)
And just group them together

Too bad rhond rousey can’t voice act for a damn! Bridgette Wilson will always be Sonya in my opinion.
She's not a good voice actor, but I still kinda liked her in the role. Bridgette Wilson was an amazing Sonya!

You make a good point about the drone finishers. Sure she does the final kill, the drone just does the stunt work, which is what makes this rank higher than the first MKX finisher.

I always liked the MK3 Purple energy kiss of death. It was different and the pile of body parts at the end isn't seen anywhere else in the game.

Anybody remember Sonya’s friendship in the early versions of MK3??? It was so stupid and cringe that they changed it in the final version and into Ultimate MK3. I know I’m not the only one who remembers it 🥴🤣🤣
I respectfully disagree on the Leg Split Fatalities... they sucked! Even someone as strong as Sonya with her leg strength is pushing it trying to make us believe that you can tear someone apart with your booted feet! (If she'd stepped INTO their guts and then split them, using her legs to literally tear them in half, then I'd be more favorable for it. :-) ) I do agree about the MK V head pops, though. Should have kept it just a normal bit of vomit then vomiting blood 'til they bled out! Would have been better, I think!
I will agree on the #1 though, that finisher was AWESOME!

Many characters endings use the same expression. Like Mr. Maximilian Dood said, the game has no creativity. Sadly, MKG is a game I still enjoy.

So happy to be a part of the WackPack. In terms of regular Mortal Kombat characters I think unfortunately Sonya tends to get the short end of the straw. Probably a rare view but apart from the head splat I actually love Sonya's kiss of death in Deadly alliance. It wouldn't have been number one for me but a respectable number two. I also like the leg splitting fatalities, they suit her and show how tough she can be. I do agree with your number one pick though Nick, it is in my view the best one she has ever had.

Very nice videos, but I have a sugestion. After you show the fatalities, you could replay them instead of showing some random dights from the games. I think is better to see them one more time than seeing some ramdom fights
