On the previous edition of Jungle or Fumble over a hundred people made it clear that they wanted Leona to be next on the list, so I hope it lives up to your expectations! At the start of April another episode will come out... what else could be fun to try out?

Love to see this, I used to play attack speed off tank Leona jungle 👌 it worked perfectly with the red smite true damage and had incredible ganks! Only down side was the first clear 😂

I've made a detailed reddit post in the past that discussed how Leona jungle would be viable if they simply made a couple adjustments to her abilities to deal more damage to jungle monsters similar to what they did with Morgana. Let W deal 175-200% damage against monsters and let her proc her own passive against monsters would make her viable in the jungle, and if the passive procs against creeps she could be viable top as well.

One can definitely tell I am not a PVP League player, I just play VS AI almost exclusively, but I had fun nonetheless!
Quite interesting to see Jungle Leona working out, honestly, quite well. Did not expect it to work the way it did.

Good game, as a Leona main for this game I would've bought Anathema's Chains and Zeke's Convergence.
Chain Pantheon that way you'll survive the teamfights way longer,
Zeke on Ult engage just does a ridiculous amount of dmg with Sunfire Aegis it's just disgusting.
And also Either Force of Nature or that other new Magic Shield item for the AP carries.
Could've been a 1v9 tank speaking from my Limit testing experiences on Leona 🤟
Just to mention the reason not to go Hydra or the Glacial gauntlet etc. is merely because Leona is full Utility, her damage comes of HP Scaling items. So as long you can be a pest around the enemy team spamming Q you're going to win easily
leona jungle! i remember when it was a decently popular off-meta strat back in 2013-14. probably my favorite one to this day, outside of river shen ofc. dont see it that much these days unfortunately, though. i feel like itd be straight up viable if they gave her the brand treatment and buffed her passive vs jungle creeps since her ganking potential and teamfight presence is immense. or you can just pick rell, lol

i think so too, especially if you get a leash because it allows your allies to proc your passive more than once

It'a double auto reset even. Auto, Q activation auto reset, Q stun auto reset.
I always try to think of interesting buffs Riot could do to make a champion work in the jungle, without just giving a 600%vs monster damage buff. Maybe Leona's mark could auto-detonate against monsters?
How about some Alistar jungle? Mess with the bull and you'll get the horns!
Are you using a mod to give Leona an updated model? She looks WAY nicer than usual.

Where leona jungle rose to the top 100 as a hilarious one trick. Best part was their backup when it was banned was.. kha'zix or udyr and they just turbo aggressed against the enemy.

Leona is a pocket pick when my team just needs ridiculous engage. Helps she was my main for a long time before I moved to jungle xD

i would actually love to see Riot adjust Leona to be a viable jungler. the kit is so nice for ganking, just needs better clear speed and a bit more damage for objectives
Yooo....Zilean jungle would be cracked, possibly the tanky version? Also can run PtA or Fleet on crappy off meta tank junglers like leona.
Ahri based on her theme, should be a great jungler. I wish they'd balance her to be able to at least in theory jungle
Leona jungle is pretty solid but you gotta build her with PTA and more like a fighter or duellist, make advantage of the high CDR in those builds to keep people locked down so they can't fight back. Her 1v1 is INSANE. I take her top lane from time to time, and every game I will have either 1st or 2nd highest damage in the game, and the enemy laner can never fight me past a certain point. The main danger is a really good Vayne or Fiora, but you can just ban one of them to reduce that pool a bit.
What's her build item and rune be like? And which are the alternatives depending on the situation?
@@deadspace4755 Well, times have changed a little bit with the recent item shakeup but I'd imagine she's still pretty decent since tanks are doing well after these changes.
For top lane, I took Trinity Force into full tank items, and snuck in a Fimbulwinter if I thought I could get away with it. If you're jungling you definitely wanna get the tear early and finish Fimbulwinter as your second item since you'll stack it so fast. Though of course, as a jungler I'd also recommend going Sunfire first which puts Trinity to third. Maybe could buy a sheen and sit on it for a while until you get the other two items.
But yeah, Leona's Q has an interesting property where it's a TRUE animation cancel. It does not interrupt the flow of her auto attacks at all, so if you use it directly after an auto attack you'll basically get 3 autos in under a second and a half, which procs PTA instantly. Granted PTA boosts your personal damage now instead of all sources of damage, but it's still decent. You could also go for Conqueror, but you're mainly winning by locking them down with loads of CC, rather than enormous damage, so it doesn't feel quite as good to me.
If you decide to give her a whirl, do let me know how it goes for you. Personally I think she's a far more viable top laner than a jungler.

first clear is so slow but at the same time you don't need to bother hitting smaller wolfs and raptors because they would die twice from the pet before you kill bigger one

honestly i kinda wanna see pyke jungle.... i know pyke is useless but hes similar to leona, massive gank and kill potential but slow clears... maybe if you skip certain camps or use the E against raptors etc? that would be so funny

Calling it now, she's busted. Maybe the clears are slow, but the ganks are op.
Even if she were a roaming support, Leona ganks are almost certain death. (unless she misses, but that's a different problem).
Round 1: I wonder if less ganking would have been better? Everyone was down farm and levels, so maybe that might have been the deciding thing?
Seriously?!? youve never done leona jungle, ive tried it with some of my friends, sometimes its hit or miss but its more broken than roaming supports especially when you go titanic hydra so you can clear, but otherwise is super nutty

Mobi boots are in the game for champs like Leona. She's one of the best users of the item.
