Despite the circumstances I do think this is probably one of my favorite TC shows ever done. Everything had such a magical air this time. There were more struggles in setup, sure, but I was so relieved when the event went mostly without issue :)

Shiny hunting Quagsire in Colloseum is why. It's a shiny he's been after for a long time that take a lot of time for each encounter and is very low odds. It was impossible and Tom's way of getting it before some important connectivity would go down. It was impossible. Essentially, Emile was in a roleplay with someone named Lady Emily last year that made her uncomfortable, but she spun it as though it was sexual harassment, despite the screenshots of their conversations showing that she consented to the roleplay even after Emile made sure he wasn't crossing any boundaries. I should note that her decision to come forward with the allegation was motivated by a Reddit thread that spoke highly about Emile's channel. A few days later, Masae revealed that she had not been friends with Emile for some years because of how uncomfortable he made her. Of the three major allegations, this is the one that has the most credibility. A few days after that, someone named Lawly brought forward a 48-page document that claims that Emile did similar things in a conversation with her when she was 15 and he was 19…and she somehow remembered roleplay that happened over 14 years ago and only revealed it to the public when much of the public was already calling for his head. Yep; nothing suspicious about that story's plausibility. Even if it is true, it's trying to act as though Emile in 2009 is the same person as he is today. Of course, the general public can't be bothered to scrutinize these allegations, and Emile was seemingly forced to make a false confession. After a week in therapy, Emile left to spend an indeterminate amount of time in Scotland with his girlfriend while Tim keeps the public updated. Despite the questionable validity of many of the allegations, many of Emile's friends cut ties with him, some of whom even deleting any videos with him from their channels, (Because that's _definitely_ going to solve things) while the public seemed to forget about Emile's virtues and act as though the allegations are what defines him. Basically, while Emile might have made an error of judgment, Emily and Lawly exaggerating or possibly fabricating their accounts makes them just as much in the wrong as Emile, though for entirely different reasons, and anyone showing any sympathy towards him is similarly demonized.

Turns out he's been doing sexual harassment a lot and is staying off UA-cam for the foreseeable future. For more detail look ot up yourself.
He's a sex pest who's been harassing women for years
Essentially, Emile was in a roleplay with someone named Lady Emily last year that made her uncomfortable, but she spun it as though it was sexual harassment, despite the screenshots of their conversations showing that she consented to the roleplay even after Emile made sure he wasn't crossing any boundaries. I should note that her decision to come forward with the allegation was motivated by a Reddit thread that spoke highly about Emile's channel.
A few days later, Masae revealed that she had not been friends with Emile for some years because of how uncomfortable he made her. Of the three major allegations, this is the one that has the most credibility.
A few days after that, someone named Lawly brought forward a 48-page document that claims that Emile did similar things in a conversation with her when she was 15 and he was 19…and she somehow remembered roleplay that happened over 14 years ago and only revealed it to the public when much of the public was already calling for his head. Yep; nothing suspicious about that story's plausibility. Even if it is true, it's trying to act as though Emile in 2009 is the same person as he is today.
Of course, the general public can't be bothered to scrutinize these allegations, and Emile was seemingly forced to make a false confession. After a week in therapy, Emile left to spend an indeterminate amount of time in Scotland with his girlfriend while Tim keeps the public updated.
Despite the questionable validity of many of the allegations, many of Emile's friends cut ties with him, some of whom even deleting any videos with him from their channels, (Because that's _definitely_ going to solve things) while the public seemed to forget about Emile's virtues and act as though the allegations are what defines him.
Basically, while Emile might have made an error of judgment, Emily and Lawly exaggerating or possibly fabricating their accounts makes them just as much in the wrong as Emile, though for entirely different reasons, and anyone showing any sympathy towards him is similarly demonized.
