    I'll always back Joe in everything he does. To me, he epitomizes the true spirit of British boxing - not just as a fighter, but also through his unwavering modesty. No fancy frills, just an extraordinary person! He fought and lost a fight, while others boast of being unbeaten but lack the resources to hold anything of genuine value. Pay attention to what Joe says. The way he used the word "experience" is so charming.

    • @nicksmith326
      @nicksmith326 10 місяців тому +9

      So true. I think it's a shame that some fighters make the argument of fighters being irrelevant after a loss, as a means to avoid fighting certain people themselves. It's nice that Joe has that old-school spirit that it's just a loss and he will continue fighting. I think if more fighters were like this, boxing would have a larger following as there would be more exciting fights.

    People saying punch resistance had gone. No Zhang hits like a tank and stylistically it was easy for him. Zhang is a high level dangerous operator who deserves all the credit. Worst thing in boxing is to rely on your chin once it has been cracked it will be easier going forward.

    • @rosiemason-rk4cm

      No - the chin IS gone; in all fairness that exact same Zhang right hand would just have bounced off the chins of David Tua, Ray Mercer, Ike Ibeabuchi, Oliver McCall etc.
      I hate to say it as I really like Joyce but without his chin he really has nothing left. He should hang up his gloves & call it a day before he gets hurt. At least he can hold his head up high & say he never cherry picked like so many of them do these days. Good luck to Joe Joyce.

Joe's a nice lad and he'll come again, but he was never going to be top level when his only strength was the ability to absorb shots and come forward.
