I personally think the song is not about a relationship with a person, it is a relationship with the industry itself. MX has been through alot of pain, trauma and bullshit. No one goes unscathed in the music industry but artists still do it, you know? It's a love-hate relationship with fame. That's why Minhyuk is on his knees in an empty concert hall, he feels the hollowness that comes after a world tour.
Ok Monsta x is a huge MJ fan specially Joohoney who's one of rappers and you can see their song, coreos MJ referances. And when he scream or doing high notes (yes he can sing also) his definitly looking MJ.
Monsta x is best kpop group ever, they have best rapper duo, best vocal, best dancer and best visual. As you can see their visuals is not an joke. I hope you guys check other songs, i recommented Gambler, Love killa, rush hour, love, shoot out, alligator.

They are a 6 member group ( formerly 7 ) from South Korea.
Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, I.M.
They do a lot of different blending of genres to create their own sound.
They debuted in 2015 and have been hardworking and developing since then.

They are a Kpop group and Kpop is its own unique phenomenon of the music industry. Its music, fashion, dance, fan interaction, and entertainment all amalgamated together. Each group will have its own fandom and they usually have their own name. Monsta X fandom name is Monbebe. Also with some of the songs I mentioned you will see the original 7 members then some with 6 then some with just 5. Their leader Shownu is currently in the military as it is mandatory for all Korean men to serve by a certain age.
