The very first thing you hear at 12:48 is the EPUSHA pump (Electronic Pump for the Utility system Hydraulic Accumulator) it is an electrical pump used to pressurize the APU start accumulator. However if the battery is dead there is a hand pump next to it you can use but it’s not very fun.
After pressurizing the hydraulic accumulator, the next sound (and sight) is the APU (auxillary power unit) being started. The APU once started, continues to pressurize the hydraulic accumulator. The main engines are started via hydraulic motors, the same as the APU. As the number 1 engine is firing up, the rotors begin to turn. Their is not rotor break on the ch-47 as their is on helicopters such as the ch-54 and UTTAS (uh-60). Other than those tiny details, great video! I learned some stuff for sure.
They are wearing the T patch. I've been out of that unit so long that I don't recognize either one of the crew members. The rotors jump at 14:02 because the PTUs (power transfer units) have been turned on, pressurizing the #1 & 2 flight hydraulic system. That causes the cyclic to center & the four flight control actuators to jump to their neutral position, and that motion is transferred to the blades through the P/C links. The blades are fiberglass composite and are quite bouncy for 330 lbs each.
The CH-47D's cabin measures 30 x 8.3 x 6.5 feet (9.14 x 2.53 x 1.98m). It's big enough to lift two HMMWVs or a HMMWV plus a 105-mm howitzer and gun crew, yet its fuselage is only 12 inches (30.5 cm) longer than the Army's UH-60 Black Hawk utility helicopter.
Yep, just like when we sat on the ramp waiting to load passengers at the airline, the APU ran almost constantly but it always sounds like we have one or both engines on.

My company Triumph actuations Ct. make the upper boost actuator and the the lag dampers for that beast , I build and test them and make them ready for customer Boeing, great video ..
Can you Still fit a dozer in there and rocket solders with Rangers and Humvee's and Lazer Robotic Drones and 25 Percent armor upgrade with Sight of line upgrade now installed and Supply Center with command center and strategy center with all upgrades purchased and now installed mam. Supply to Supply centers flight
