No I usually use a pick and tap on the back of the stone to knock it out. That is a great idea though i will try it in the future. I would assume as long as you keep the flow of air moving i do not think a hair dryer will hurt anything.
I have both the WWF Big Eagle and Undisputed championship replicas. I used Rustoleum hoping for mirror effects with no results. What do you recommend for shinier plates? And what tools do you use to remove the old stones on plates? Thank you.
It really depends if the top coat of your plating is gone or wearing. You will have a hard time as you get deeper into the plate it may get shinier but the color or tone will change. If you are trying to clean them I use alcohol wipes with microfiber cloth after polishing. In the past I was using a metal polish. That is how I found out how thin the plating that is applied is it will get shiny but the gold fades. To remove the stones I crafted custom picks that I tap on the back of to knock the stone free, However one of my subscribers commented asking about a heat gun to loosen the glue. I will be trying a hair dryer along with picks on the next one.
Im waiting for a video of this belt being releathered. I don't like Seth Rollins gimmick neither,i really think he should go heel,or go back to the architect
Looks awesome 🤩
Thank you!
Were the stones 3mm for the small and 6mm for the larger ones? Thinking of restoning mine and that looked like the sizes when measured.
Can you do a video of you removing and setting the stones?
When getting the glue out do use a hair dryer to heat up the glue? That doesn't do any harm to the plates does it?
