Awesome guide. I don't know if its just me, but I feel that a few bits and pieces of the instructions that comes with the game weren't totally clear... But this video helped me understand!
Great guide! This already looks awesome. Can't wait for the KS campaign to launch and for stretch goals to be revealed. More playable races would be amazing. 😍
It seems you are following an old rulebook, which is not up-to-date anymore. There are only 2 Waves and your Turn Order is wrong, you are not allowed to buy an item but help your team mates with reshuffle or ask someone. And there is a limit of 5 resources each. Page 5, Version 0.99 During your turn complete the following 5 phases, in order: 1) Play cards from your hand 2) Refresh Loot 3) Clean Up and Upkeep 4) Heroes Invasion 5) End your turn (Side Note, Important on Scenario 4, The Frogs move only after Your Turn is complete, that means after heroes invasion) P.S. A Warrior RPG thematical destroy traps and break doors, *but a Rogue disarm Traps*, he doesnt destroy traps, sounds better, yep?
in the rule book there are only 2 levels per difficulty, why does this state there are 3? ive seen some gameplays and they play 3 but rules mention constantly survive 2 turns :S
Great video and the game looks like it has great components and interesting mechanics. Im wondering why the dungeon tiles are so limited? The limited tiles seems to make the game feel small and really decreases replay ability. Am I missing something?
Question: if i move around holding a trap and i take it with me into a room with a hero, will the hero die? Also, at 11:23 aren't the heroes supposed to go downwards to the next room since there isn't a chestin the room anymore?
Will react to your question, even after a year, because I also found it hard to understand based on the rules. Maybe I can help other players: In the rule book it explains the traps like this: "When a Hero enters a room with a trap (either being summoned or move into it), they take 1 damage and the trap is discarded." So it means heroes can only be affected by traps that were in the room before they get inside. BUT DON'T FORGET: If a hero is summoned it will ALWAYS use its special ability first, than get's killed by a trap if there is any. Example: if you put a trap into the cell - room ( which contains exhausted heroes ) and you summon a mage into it, it first reactivates the exhausted heroes in the cell, than gets killed by the trap. Sorry if there are gramatic errors -> not my native language. PS: to your second question - The heroes used their "action" by stealing the chest & got exhausted. They will move to the next room, after being reactivated ( by summoning another hero in the room for example ) Hope you are still having fun playing! Have a nice day 🙂
@@AltF5Games Thanks a million! Yeah, since I commented I have gotten a full understanding of all the rules, but I'm sure this will help others who are wondering the same. I still play the game occasionally and have a lot of fun with it when i do!
@@thecardboardstacker Maybe. It could be a game balance thing, eg. the mage is less common than the other adventurers and they want the prison break to happen less often, while the rogue is fairly common because they're a weaker adventurer and the game doesn't want to overwhelm you? At any rate, looks like an interesting game...
Reminds me of Gandalf from the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. He always shows up just in time to get the characters out of a tough situation. Could be inspired by that.
13:26 why would you take 3 cards and why is it exhausted? is this a old rule? In the printed Rulebook the archer comes in and shoots, then gets exhausted because she is in prison and you don't take 3 cards, because this only happens when you take the "push your luck"-Aktion (place exhausted and take 3 cards)
Amazing tutorial, very grateful
Thanks! Glad you liked the video!
Wow... I wish all board game tutorials would be like this! Perfect!
This is fantastic. Great animations!

One of the best boardgame rules explanation I've seen!
Thank you
This saved us a night of debating rules and trying to figure things out.
This is perfect - I just got the game and was struggling with how to actually get the store cards and what to do with resources. Thank you!
Awesome tutorial! Please tell your friend Luis, to let you do the instructions part of his games in the future.
Thanks! And actually I have done a lot of videos of Luis.
Extremely well done tutorial.
Subscribed, really like the way you teach, great idea to use the digital assets this way!
Glad you enjoyed it! And thanks for the sub!
Very good, just what I needed. This game arrived yesterday.

Yeah! I only played two of the races so far. More races would be totally awesome.
Looks like they’re adding Slimes, Cthulhu, and Lizardfolk. The heroes are also playable with the Guild Master’s Revenge expansion.
@@WideMouth Yep, looks awesome. I'm already all in on this one 😁
@@Tokioka I hope they unlock the Lizardfolk stretch goal. They look really cool!
This was an awesome tutorial, the animation and the way of explaining it is really on point!
Perfect. Thnx!
Wow! I Loved the game. But I Loved the video itself! subscribed!
Thank you! Thank you!

What if ithe first move you draw a mage and put it in prison. Do you complete the summons on the guild card?
i've got a question, can you atack the heroes trapped in the jail? with either melee or ranged atacks?
Yes, you can attack and you should do that to not lose the game because too many heroes run to the big treasure chest.
can you attack heroes in the dungeon?
the mechanics are quite similar to the brazilian game Zurviviors..
Great video and the game looks like it has great components and interesting mechanics. Im wondering why the dungeon tiles are so limited? The limited tiles seems to make the game feel small and really decreases replay ability. Am I missing something?
The game has many scenarios and the configurations are different. It’s really a puzzle each time.

@@LucienThePeacebringer Sure, you are welcome! 😊
A wizard sent to jail activates and all that, but don't you always draw three cards?
It's interesting that it's the mage who breaks their fellow heroes out of prison rather than the rogue.
Maybe it’s a “magical” lock.
@@thecardboardstacker Maybe. You are correct, this is a mishap in the explanation.
wait is this not a mobile game?
It’s a board game. I think the Kickstarter will happen very soon.
That music is so distracting. I get that you want to show off your editing skills. Resist that impulse.
Thank you for your feedback. We'll keep in mind music editing in the future.
