Frank Sinatra "Come Rain or Come Shine"

This is Frank Sinatra’s second recording of "Come Rain or Come Shine," written by Harold Arlen and Johnny Mercer for the 1946 Broadway musical St. Louis Woman. It was recorded on November 22, 1961
as part of the 1962 album Sinatra and Strings on Reprise Records released in January 1962 & arranged & conducted by Don Costa.

I prefer this arrangement. Maybe because his voice shines and is not overpowered. What a beautiful sentiment, a love thru all stages, all ages, all circumstances. That kind of love is a beautiful thing. It’s rather endearing all that enduring.
