The orchestra at the starts sounds like a freaking boss theme. Heck, the whole song does.
I never really been a fan of CG but this song definitely changed my mind. It was heavy and relentless definitely be interesting for me if the album is like this.

I saw a post from the guitar player that said the album has a whole bunch of influences, so it’s going to be all over the place.

I loved Alex but Tom's vocals are just so unique. You can always tell it's him. Hard to believe people hate on him, he's a beast.

Tom has become my favorite vocalist for sure, he’s absolutely killing it. Chelsea Grin, Darko (Cannot wait for the second album), and old Lorna Shore.
The next Darko is their 3rd album, 1st was dethmask 2nd was self titled.

The overlay of the symphonies with the chugg riff keeps getting better after each listen, definitely the hook. Sick fucking track, so hyped for a double lp, we are lucky to get so much, hope it's on par throughout!!
For a second, I thought we’d never get anymore CG, knowing that Tom is doing Darko, but I guess them coming out with a double album makes a lot more sense now.

I was a massive CG fan and they’re probably the band I have seen live the most from like 2009-2013. I fell off after the Evolve EP, but this makes me super excited for new music from them!
Tom is a beast. He's a fresh addition to Chelsea Grin
Was able to see your love for music super well in this and it made me smile almost the whole way through. I didn't think symphonic deathcore could really go anywhere from the heights LS and SOI brought but I really dug the "twist" that CG threw on it. Keep up the good work man!

I'll never understand the negativity toward Tom being in CG. IMO Tom schools Alex. This band has made a lot of changes, which does bum me out but, with change comes new quality. I loved Eternal Nightmare, I love their previous singles and I love this. 4 years worth the wait. CG for the win.

I don't like Chelsea Grin with either vocalist that much, but Tom > Alex any day

I think people hate on Tom because the first record Tom was in (Eternal Nightmare) is a huge shift in sound that people who like their earlier more melodic lead driven sound prefers Alex Koehler more by association
personally I'm one of those people who dislike the "breakdown after breakdown" sound from Eternal Nightmare but I never thought Tom was worse than Alex because I've listened to Flesh Coffin before Tom joined Chelsea Grin
I think Tom is one of, if not, the best vocalist in metal. I remember back in 2018, a few years after I kind of fell off of the metal bandwagon, I saw the CaliberTV video of Hostage live, and I fell in love with metal again. It led me down this rabbit hole of awesome bands and reaction channels, and is probably why I even found your channel.

At the risk of suggesting something obvs, have you tried tightening the nuts on the first arm of the mic stand? That's where it looked like it was slouchin. Anyway I'm with you on this one, the symphonic elements were the best part. Really added an extra element to this track. Not much to say here other than this shit rips dude.

Say what you will about Tom’s vocals vs. Alex’s, I just love how much groove they have in their tunes now.
This is one of the better death core songs in a long while! Have listened to CG and this track some some older styling running through it, has elements of Lilith. Going to see them in December and excited to see this track live.

I really hope the album has a lot like this. Never been into these guys really but this is a banger. I like this way more than what Lorna Shore has been doing. Everything is 100 million mph and it’s just excessive but this was chunky, groovy and just hit the right buttons for me. Pastor!

Tom is hands down my favorite vocalist. I get the classic CG and I also get the new Lorna Shore...but especially after Darko US Tom has been my favorite.

Symphonic blackened deathcore
Is it just me, or this song huge Cradle of Filth vibes, if they went deathcore. The song btw is sick (so mean it in a good way about cof vibes). for me easy (so far) song of the year, and honestly this one gonna be very hard to push down from that place.
Speaking about Tom:
Tom is the most underrated singer in the scene, he have been a top level for so many years and it seems like ppl have forgot about him with all the new cool singers coming up.
Totally agree with the COF comparison, some of those really smooth highs that Tom was doing totally give me Dani vibes + the creepy symphonic stuff of course
COF but deathcore is just Lorna Shore for me: symphonic elements, high screaming and poetic lyrics

At first I wasn’t sure how to feel as I’m not a huge fan of the symphonic deathcore style. But like you said, the symphonic elements really compliment the other instruments. They feel like a foundation/driving force more than the focal point, and they’re very tastefully done. The song has grown on me in such a short time. Also Tom is just immensely talented, and I really commend him for being able to provide such distinction in vocals across his projects.

Not a massive Chelsea Grin fan (although I do enjoy Eternal Nightmare and their last two singles quite a lot), but this song is awesome. But to be fair, I am a big sucker for symphonic deathcore so yeah lol 😅

I won't lie. The symphonic stuff was cool in deathcore in the beginning. I'm kinda over it. This is a nice twist, but still. Not my favorite incorporation.
