I had used this method when I conducted research on high density rotifer culture more than ten years ago. It works but you need to check and adjust your iv drip every few hours or it will not drip .Not practical for large number of plants .

In my opinion, one should calculate how much mL of water a pant needs in 24hrs( considering climate and evaporation rate) . As 20 IV drops is equal to 1 mL. I guess in this video the dripping is fast, the plant may die due to over watering. ( No hard feelings just clearing my doubt)

@@NATUREplus Que tal, tienes que hacer un hueco un poco más grandecito que entre el cotonete de plástico, llenas de agua la poma la pones boca abajo y te darás cuenta que sale agua por el cotonete, le presionas un poco la panza de la poma y te daras cuenta que jala burbujas de aire y por el costado del hueco tiene que comensar a salir gotas de agua, si ves que no sale sigue insistiendo presionando la panza de la botella y si ya no sale, has un poco más grande el hueco y te darás cuenta como comienza a salir gota de agua por el costado del cotonete, saludos desde Centro Ameria, Ecuador...
It looks like it is very efficient system but it is not unless you have to adjust the drip controller every few hours or else it will stop dripping especially with direct sunlight . Trust me because i have experience with this thing decades ago.

How to avoid to cloging the Filter? The water i have used has some parts in it. They have cloged the small Filter and the drop rate changed very Bad. Is it possible to take out the Filter?

It is preferable to place the device in a shaded area or make it opaque to light to avoid the appearance of algae. If the filter is blocked by algae, you can use a hydrogen peroxide solution to remove them.

En mi caso, use bidones de 20 litros y intenete utilizar el sistema de capilaridad manteniendo el bidon a buena altura respecto a la planta a regar. Casi sistematicamente sucedio lo dicho arriba. O se freno el paso del agua o se abrio y paso demasiado rapido. No me parece un sistema fiable para dejar las plantas muchos dias.

Hay quien usa como regulador un trapo recubierto con papel de aluminio. Habria que probarlo. Creo que la clave esta en conseguir un flujo muy leve, que le de a la planta el agua justa x dia...y que no se trabe. Cuando use el de 20 litros, probe con varios tubos de infusion, como el que usas, en prevencion de que al menos uno siga funcionando.... en definitiva...nada concluyente aun.
