I think the question of the female student ratio should be 5:11 because If you simplify 20/44 with 4, the 20/4 is 5 and 44/4 is 11 meaning the final ratio is 5/11
8:32 This is a perfect example of why tests are stupid. There is no one correct objective answer to this question. The pattern I identified was a pattern of rhyme. All of the letters presented rhyme besides J. However, because a different pattern was chosen to be the answer to the question, J is deemed to be incorrect. How many people like me will be passed over because we didn’t have the exact same thing in mind as the people writing the question?
I think that the question with P, T, B, J, G is a bad question. I would've picked J, because it's the one that's doesn't rhyme with the other ones. pee, bee, gee, tee, jay. Maybe if they used different letters it would be better, but that is what came off the top of my head

The following question has an alternate solution: 8 + 4 = 32 (8 + 4 = 12) replace the 1 with 3 and you have 32 9 + 6 = 35 (9 + 6 = 15) replace the 1 with 3 and you have 35 3 + 8 = 31 (3 + 8 = 11) replace the 1 with 3 and you have 31 0 + 1 = ?? (0 + 1 = 01) replace the 0 with 3 and you have 31. My answer was "D" Alternate answer: each equation was off by 20 (32-12), (35-15), (31-11), and (21-1) so I can see how the correct answer was "C"=21.

It's very confusing to see out of all the posts which is the correct answer to the question. Very frustrating when you are trying to learn but can't find the answer in the trail of comments. It doesn't make sense and is time consuming
I think it would also be better if you did 2 questions per "pattern" so once you have given the answer to 1 questions you get a proper practice question to answer the same method as the previous.

The student who spent $110 on school supplies. The change is not relevant because the question states spent not student went shopping with $110 and received $6 in change. The answer should be $110 x 36% not $104 x 36%

Please help with clarity... The question at 32:20 timestamp... If student "spent $110 on school supplies" and had $6 change, then she SPENT $110. One can't subtract what change she had left from what she actually spent. There's no logic in that. I think the change was added to throw one off course. So I think the correct answer should be (A) $40 (rounded up from $39.60) Can someone please confirm this and reply... Hope my logic is correct. TIA
@Natalie: You are 100% right. The explanation in the video seems to me wrong. Student spent $110 and 36% of $110 = $39.60 = $40. Therefore, the answer should be A) $40

a number should be 7 to get the multiplication result as 21. so option C is invalid. Now if I fixed 7 at 2nd multiplier then I need 2 number where subtraction resulting as 3. So 9-6. Hence answer is B.

True. It cannot be 4:11 ,, 4:11 means for ever 11 students there are 4 females, whereas in actual its 5 females students... lets bifurcate in sets 11 student each ... group A 11 (5 female), group B 11 (5 female), group C 11 (5 female), group D 11 (5 female).. if u total it, 5+5+5+5=20.. so ratio should be 5:11.. (desi zaban main ye banda watt lagwaye ga actual test main lol) ;)

on the 9:17 one i tried to pronounce each letter, and it happens that only the letter T had a different mouth and tongue movement when pronounced. P and B required me to close my lips, while J and G required me to clench my teeth. Only T had my tongue on my teeth.
In the question#2, the odd number can be choice A) 13 also if not looked at its numerical characteristics such as prime or not prime. Because it is the only number that ends with 'N' ! With no specific way to work with a question, answer can also be solved with different approaches! Similarly, in the question to choose an odd letter from the given choices (P,T,B,J,G), solution discussed was to choose the letter based on the shape (rounded versus sharp edges -why?). Why can't it be 'G' instead where all the other letters except letter 'G' begins with a straight stroke down?

I think question at 33:33 is not accurate since it says SPENT $110 not PAID. You don't get change from a spend. You could get a rebate but that's different than change.
The correct answer is A instead. 36% of 110 is 39.6 so the estimate is 40. The $6.00 was change and so should not be subtracted from the spend since it is *already not* a part of it

For 7:55 - The question with shaded triangles - took me about 10 seconds to solve. The middle row is the mirror reflection of the first row, so the third row must be the mirror reflection of the second row.

Very nice video. It would have been better, if questions were numbered. For 13:10, I see 2 more patterns. First pattern - outputs are in a sequence like 10, 11, 12 and 14. 14 breaks the sequence here because I was expecting the next sequence as 13 (10, 11, 12, 13). So, expression B does not belong to the group Second pattern - in B, C and D - all of them has one number that is multiple of 3, but A has two numbers that are multiple of 3. So, expression A does not belong to the group. So, here is a serious question, how do I know which pattern is correct?
That's a big problem with these tests - there can be several patterns or correct answers from different logics or diciplines. For example from the letters "P, T, B, J, G" I would say J doesn't belong to the group because it's the only one that is not a plosive consonant.
13:50 i think there is another possiblity that if you look at option D they both are prime numbers but in other options there is at least one number which is divisible by 1 and any other multiple of that number

46:11 Why would you subtract the change from cost of supply purchases? It's money she gets to keep. Therefore it's not spent on school purchases. 1st grade math right here 💪
In the question at the time 14:24, there are several possible answers in addition to proposed in the video. For example the answer "D" because it's the only one where both operands are prime. It's the one I guessed. But how would one reason that the answer is C, where the sum is the outlier vs D where both operands are the outlier? But there are others that are a bit more of a stretch "A" because it's the only one where the first operand is an even number. Or answer "D"" because it's the only one where second operand is not divisible by 3. Or answer "B" because it's the only one whose second operand equals to 9. I'm guessing the latter can be dismissed as a single operand is less significant of pattern than one involing both operands or the sum.

There on at 15:35, I guessed D because it makes the pattern of alternation of even and odd numbers complete. With selection of D, both diagonals contain only even numbers. And all the rows and columns alternate odd and even. If I realized this and the "correct" answer how would I reason for using the answer suggested in the video?

Great question Alex! The difficultly of the problems depends on the position you're applying for. More paying jobs would have more complicated problems to solve. You don't have to answer all of them correctly and the best approach is to answer the easy ones first and get back to the harder ones later rather than being stock on the difficult ones. The potential employers want to see where their perspective employees are intellectually, what their math skills like, etc - no one said you have to be perfect though so no worries. Just study and get an idea what kind of questions might be there and how to approach them. Hope it all makes sense. Thank you for watching and leaving a comment as well . What simplification can bring the 20:44 ratio to 4:11? or it should be 5:11? This is from the question about female and male students in the e three classes
For the question of which letter does not belong, I chose T not because of the pattern you dispalyed, my first thought was PBJ sandwich and then thougt G stands for grape but I couldnt find anything related to T except Tuna which doesnt go with the pattern :D, yep pretty stupid and silly I know :)

Very subjective question as one could only know the answer if they've seen The Sound of Music or heard the song before. Which in this case would not be a good way to test cognitive ability or pattern matching.@@OnlineTrainingforEveryone
35:41 The questios is worded so that it's impossible to know what they expect. The denominator of the ratio is "female students". it's not even a numeric value. Even if it said "the count of" or "the number of" said female students, it's still mathematically ambiguous. How is this for a ratio: the probability of getting this one right 1/4 regardless of math skills.

Practice Cognitive Abilities Assessment Test: www.howtoanalyzedata.net/cognitive-assessment-test-questions-and-answers/
36:09 After simplification, 20:44 is equal to 5:11, NOT 4:11. Thus, the answer is C, not B.
Agreed 👍
I think the question of the female student ratio should be 5:11 because If you simplify 20/44 with 4, the 20/4 is 5 and 44/4 is 11 meaning the final ratio is 5/11
My thoughts exactly. Since there's no option for 5:11 then the answer should be 20:44
@@mandcscartoons6858 A great big ooops here. Hiw could they get that wrong? It's so very simple.
@@mandcscartoons6858 Yes you are right, I fully agree.
It could also be P because the upper and lower case are often written as identical for it but the others have different upper and lower cases
@@MrMeecles My mind went straight to A=1 B=2 C=3 etc. Therefore G (7) is the odd one out - all others lie on an even number (P=16, B=2, J= 10 & T=20).
I think that the question with P, T, B, J, G is a bad question. I would've picked J, because it's the one that's doesn't rhyme with the other ones. pee, bee, gee, tee, jay. Maybe if they used different letters it would be better, but that is what came off the top of my head

39:42 The answer is D, as "Theories are sweet" is the only statement that isn't completely wrong, instead being a matter of opinion.
The following question has an alternate solution:
8 + 4 = 32 (8 + 4 = 12) replace the 1 with 3 and you have 32
9 + 6 = 35 (9 + 6 = 15) replace the 1 with 3 and you have 35
3 + 8 = 31 (3 + 8 = 11) replace the 1 with 3 and you have 31
0 + 1 = ?? (0 + 1 = 01) replace the 0 with 3 and you have 31. My answer was "D"
Alternate answer: each equation was off by 20 (32-12), (35-15), (31-11), and (21-1) so I can see how the correct answer was "C"=21.

If we structure A to Z as 1 to 26, J =10, G=7, B=2, T=20 and P= 16, only G has odd number, hence correct answer is E) G

P T B J G different one
P=20,t=16,b=2,j=10,g=7 different is odd . According to me ,answer is g and g is odd .please tell me sir

Correction- 20:44 is 5:11 and not 4:11.
True. It cannot be 4:11 ,, 4:11 means for ever 11 students there are 4 females, whereas in actual its 5 females students... lets bifurcate in sets 11 student each ... group A 11 (5 female), group B 11 (5 female), group C 11 (5 female), group D 11 (5 female).. if u total it, 5+5+5+5=20.. so ratio should be 5:11.. on the 9:17 one i tried to pronounce each letter, and it happens that only the letter T had a different mouth and tongue movement when pronounced.
For 17:24 the answer is 13+ 5 = 18 as these are prime no. Addition.

You attempted the bag question wrong. You don’t need to deduct the 6 as she didn’t spent them. Then it gives the right answer of 40. A.
Thanks Isa, great feedback! Thanks for sharing your way of solving the challenge to help us all learn!!!

So, expression B does not belong to the group
Second pattern - in B, C and D - all of them has one number that is multiple of 3, but A has two numbers that are multiple of 3.
@@laurabarbo exactly
but you have to be aware that the tests are meant for native speakers of other languages as well... stick to the visual pattern@@laurabarbo
Very helpful... Thanks.

1st grade math right here
💪
What is the new order of shape after the change? What is the correct answer?
D - 32/8=4 all others equal to 18
In the question at the time 14:24, there are several possible answers in addition to proposed in the video.

Read through the comments before wasting your time on this video. The creator of this video replies to comments with an auto response. He doesn’t give a shit about your comments or questions. Instead, he tried to get you to watch another video and will leave a link to it. Some of you have some good questions and statements about this video, too. What a disappointment 🤦♂️
Hello Donut Viper and thank you for watching my video! I appreciate your valuable feedback as well! My replies aren't automatic ! I do read all the feedbacks and try to answer all the questions that will benefit my audience. I do share all the information I have available with the people who take time to leave me their feedback. I do so since my experience indicated that not everyone youtube/internet savvy and doesn't know how to search for more videos and other resources I offer. I've had people ask me to create videos on topics that are already covered in my other existing videos. I hope it all makes sense to you and helps you to understand why my feedbacks can look like autogenerated when they aren't.
Please feel free to reach out with any other questions, points of view, or suggestion. I'll gladly reply as time permits. All the best to you and your family! Keep learning!

You're too funny Donut! Thank you for responding! I'm glad we figured it all out! Best of luck !
& you do not respond to our answers so we are still guessing and can't tell if the comments are correct or not
Fantastic
Thanks for the feedback! All the best on your job interview and assessment test!
The answer is B 9,6,7
Option B - 5 shapes

28:45 question.... How would the average person solve this quickly in test situation?
Seems extremely difficult unless youve studied mathematics.
Great point! Thank you for bringing this up and correcting me. and sorry for the typo
No worries sir
In fact this is my first experience with cognitive ability testing questions..and I have a link to do the test by next Monday 😀
Is the answer (D) 32÷3......Which expression does not belong to the group
For the question of which letter does not belong, I chose T not because of the pattern you dispalyed, my first thought was PBJ sandwich and then thougt G stands for grape but I couldnt find anything related to T except Tuna which doesnt go with the pattern :D, yep pretty stupid and silly I know :)
I would choose J, and 20/44 not 4/11.
Excellent choices! You nailed it! All the best on your job interview and assessment test!
Answer to 12:34 is Option B
The one at 21:45, I got the same. . answer but by noticing the pattern of odds and evens: OEEOOEE[O]. The only odd option is 67.
4:40 the answer is B
hi. surely the simplification of the ratio 20:44 is 5:11 (and not 4:11)?

36:39 min Simplification 20:44 is equal to 5:11, not 4:11 as shown on the test :)

Iam guessing A too

Very subjective question as one could only know the answer if they've seen The Sound of Music or heard the song before. Which in this case would not be a good way to test cognitive ability or pattern matching.@@OnlineTrainingforEveryone
C: 33, rest are prime
35:41 The questios is worded so that it's impossible to know what they expect. The denominator of the ratio is "female students". it's not even a numeric value. Even if it said "the count of" or "the number of" said female students, it's still mathematically ambiguous. How is this for a ratio: the probability of getting this one right 1/4 regardless of math skills.
42:12 Why not not D? It's the only one where the second operand is more than the first.
