      Thanks for the comment, Jeffrey, I'm currently waiting to move to a new property before I finalise the dial and case. I hope yours went as well as the one I have nearly finished; did you use an Anchor or Grasshopper escapement?

      I used an Anchor but its a bit loud. I'm going to change it to a Grasshopper.@@PG-Clocks-Torquay

    Hello there, lovely build. Can I ask what you used for the main pendulum rod length. Wilding suggests 1/2” wooden dowel. Your pendulum looks to be black, is it just painted or another material? Thanks

      Hi, you will laugh when I tell you I visited B&Q, bought a length of doweling and stained it, perfect.

    Can you recommend a place to source brass plate/sheet? I'm located in the US. I have a few john wilding plans but trouble finding the sizes required of brass sheet/plate in 3/16in for frames of something machineable, but even the other sizes listed are not very easy to come by, 1/4, 1/8, 3/32, "18 gauge"....
