I did nMA "blind" first time last month in about 2 hours (CP 960 and many deaths). This second time around the poisin and enrage kept killing me over and over. This video on managing poison and leaving 1 mage made the difference and did that whole stage in about 6 minutes! Many thanks! Your speaking style, cadence, and explanations in simple terms make videos easier to understand. Other content creators seem to rush through using ESO (or general MMO) terms I'm still trying to learn (after a year of casual play with a dungeon focus so far). Thanks again!

It's so funny, I found your channel after a fresh new player guide right when i started by chance. Then you uploaded this like 2 days after my first maelstrom run. I did it blind and loved it. When work slows down i definitely intend to revisit it.
Like a boss - I am new to the game and barely 250 cp. I don't think I can get further than level 7, but i wouldn't had been able to get this far without this guide. Thank you!
Here's a tip for the lizard boss arena with the venom plants if you get infected and your playing a magic base class with a shield you can pop that shield by spamming it untill you get to the cleansing pool to avoid your health depleting faster

Completed today cp358, Stamblade w/ RingOTPO, Hundings + Witchman. Only deaths on poison, I won when after the first enrage and hiding in the shield I beat it by going all in and spamming whirling blades/surprise attack. Helpful advice dude!
Got through the spiders room completely ignoring the spiders bc of ropo lol I couldn’t remember what to do with the gold pillars 😂 I was like why would these thingns die then just vanished.
2.5 years to get the inferno staff. 1st run with the curated loot system. I turned my original toon, a tank, into your God mode magdk and it's now my hardest hitting dps. Loving the armory. I think ill try vet with it Today. Did I mention he's an argonian?
Took me like 2 hours with Pet Sorc, CP 500, everything was pretty easy was just the last boss got me a few times cause I didn’t realise you could interrupt his skull ability lol, got the perfected restoration staff tho, Rip 😤
When he comes down at the end, i try to give him everything i got, but he keeps draining all my magicka because i try to self heal and i keep dying always that way

I just ran normal after watching this guide. Normal is so easy. 700+ CP finished in about an hour on 2 diff toons magplar and my dktank with dps gear. So easy on my dpstank I use to solo everything just slower then standard high deeps toon but doesn't die ,i just ignored most of the mechanics and just facetanked everything. So I used him first. Then magplar and had to pay attention to mechanics. Magplar died a couple times but was so much faster. Thanks for the guide. Just stared playing in March.
I get the first horvar, then damage her with dots and parse, literally go get the next horvar and I get spit on in the time it takes to go from pillar to pillar with like 2-4 spits and one of those is 50k I have no idea how to get past this or if that’s a bug glitch or not. I get enraged hits hard but it’s the very first time she enrages like 10 seconds after she spawns. I gave up hoping I can restart the round and just get the stun at the beginning unlike when you die fighting her and rez. Granted I’m only cp530 but I really feel like the 50k is something way way off than it should be.
This reminds me of the runescape lava and kiln capes. Long winded fights the first time around and just a time waster the second time through. Kiln capes were the bis capes though so you know ya boy had to run it. Besides, easy 2m if you were bored and just got the onyx reward.

@@chiefkuuni LOL. Keep trying. Best thing I learned from LuckyGhost, Alcast, Xynode, and others is to be deliberate and methodical in yoiur rotation. And learn not to squeeze the controller. And learn to watch your timers. And weave every 1 second (I use a metronome app set for 0.95 seconds (due to human lag). Good times!
Finally able to finish this arena, in normal mode, although I died three times, despite using shields and other buffs. Is there any good reason to do the veteran instead of normal, does it provide with better gear ?

See after getting the hang of the arena the part that will drive you insane isn't the mechanics but how mind numbing reruns are trying to get the weapon you want
You spend 3/4 hours getting oneshot by random cancer that's offscreen just to get a fcking staff. then you see the guide and he's cp 1777 and can just kill the boss in one go lmao.
I’m kinda new to the game, been playing it for 2 months. And I’m probably using the build you’re using right now, but i don’t have the malestrom bow, I have a trash bow found around the map. And couple of days ago for the first time I tried this arena on veteran mode, I took me 5 hours to finish it because I didn’t had any idea about the mechanics, I struggled a lot on the 7th arena because I was enraging the boss, and after I died like 10 times I gave up and watched an UA-cam video and everything I was doing was wrong, after watching the video on UA-cam it took me 2 tries to kill the boss. And 8th arena was easy but the 9th arena I found crazy hard because again I had no idea about mechanics, I think I died like 30 times before I decided to look up a video on UA-cam, and after it took me 3 tries to kill the boss. I’ve been told by my friends to learn the mechanics first but I tried it anyway, so yeah whoever wants to do it on vet mode, learn the mechanics. Arena is not hard with the build he uses on this video, just the mechanics are important to know. I’m cp 250 right now and I finished it. The build he uses is amazing. I got everything from his build but the bow he uses. Edit- whoever wants an amazing character to play, try the one he uses, is amazing .
If you mean the poison shrooms; You have to run to safe zone and its removed, no way to purge. It is possible to heal through it even on veteran every now and then. 9/10 times it will just kill you though.
Maybe your build doesn't have enough survivability? I only do 25k dps, but I have 28k health with food and 2700 health recovery w/ Strategic Reserve in the red tree (I slot werewolf ult for the 15% stam regen and just never cast it). Between replenishing my health with Reaving Blows in the blue tree and a damage shield ability, I cleared the entire thing on one life on vet on my very first run through Maelstrom ever. You probably don't need to be as chonk as I am, but a lot of the mechanics Lucky said were dangerous didn't seem very dangerous to me :p And even only doing 25k, I still cleared poison right after the second shield.
I assume it's tracked by the quest. If you don't have the quest, either because you completed it or abandoned it, you'll start over from the beginning.
You know I'm not sure but its the solo stamdk on my site. I don't parse my solo builds because you need defensive abilities you won't use while parsing :) probably hits 70 to 80k with the solo setup

Animations break down and weaving doesn't trigger when alog of shit starts going on. So, I give up. I cannot deal with this level of anger and frustration with a game that has well below average combat in the first place. The combat is not nearly well designed enough for soo many bullshit mechanics and damage being tossed at you. This trial has turned me from someone who loves ESO because of everything it offers outside its horrible combat, to someone who now despises ESO and have canceled my membership as well as Uninstalled. I will never open ESO again thanks to the final boss of VMA.
I just made it to round 5 and no one told me how long and tedious it is. It took me 40 minutes as a good solo stam necro to make it half way. BULL SHIT IT is only 45 minute vet run. Maybe if your playing the I win easy mode meta class its that fast and easy to do. It's not so hard I can't do it just VEEERRRY LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGG and boring. I wasn't prepared with food enough so I had to quit and get better pots ect. When content is that slow and boring I need to psych my brain up for the grind.
I'm so annoyed with the FUCKING LAG in Maelstrom arena, today again I died because of desync. I noticed on the ice arena how mobs stopped losing hp at ~20% and then instantly dying a few seconds later, checked my connection and it was completely fine.

I got to the troll that breaks the ice and gave up. Was a total noob though- my gear sucked. Gonna try it again.

Also if you are a sorcerer use streak liberally you can escape the plant before you even get poisoned

dude even at 400 cp where i'm at. I tried normal and i 2 hit every mob. meanwhile in vet almost anything one hit kills me at 22k hp
I leave one mage up like I'm supposed to and the bosses enrage kills the second one through his bubble which then gets me killed

Yes the "Perfected" version of the weapons have an extra effect, for example Perfected Merciless Charge has +1190 offensive penetration.
How many times a day can you run this?

Those blades can also change direction mid fight as well, idk if it was a recent update but it’s impossible to survive it below cp 1500

It's possible, but it's a better idea to get to cp 160 (max gear level) so you'll have it at all times after 160.

I didn’t die once until the poison area, I’ve died like 30 times so far on it. My DPS is so low it take like 3 cycles for me to even be close.

Im dealing with the same shit on final boss today and its legit making me wanna rage quit the game. ESO fever has gone down cause of this arena lol

Maybe if your playing the I win easy mode meta class its that fast and easy to do. It's not so hard I can't do it just VEEERRRY LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGG and boring. I wasn't prepared with food enough so I had to quit and get better pots ect. When content is that slow and boring I need to psych my brain up for the grind.

I'm so annoyed with the FUCKING LAG in Maelstrom arena, today again I died because of desync. I noticed on the ice arena how mobs stopped losing hp at ~20% and then instantly dying a few seconds later, checked my connection and it was completely fine.
