I'd suggest people to use the dummy if they want to test out their gear setups as most if not all players will deal with suboptimal stats across their sets hence it's not always cut and dry which is better.
I would argue that a champion generally do not need more than 60 - 65% Crit chance, the reason being that point per point between Crit and Attack, Attack almost certainly gains more value. This is true in almost any game that has Crit Chance as a stat, but it depends on what the Crit Dmg multiplier is as well and how the synergy with a champions interaction with Crit too. Some games Crit dmg is a 1.2 multiplier some games its 1.5 and some games its just outright double - quadruple dmg.
I agree. I had to decide between a 40% attack and 27% crit on a char that already had around 60% crit. Opted for the consistent 40% across the board, because not only does it increase non crits by 40% it increases the crits you DO get by 40%
@@HorizunTheAlien the 40% attack applies to the basic stats. theoretically, in a fully built champion that, let's say, has a total attack 4 times the base one, that 40% attack stat only increases the total damage by 10%. crit rate is a force multiplier and increases in value the more crit damage and attack you have. for example, at 200% crit damage, your crits will deal 3 times the non crit damage. that 27% suddenly becomes 57% more damage. sure, early game, when each stat point is hard to get, maximizing crit rate without (and especially if sacrificing) attack and crit damage, makes no sense. very very early on, you're better off just going full on attack and ignoring completely both crit rate and crit damage. once you start picking up some usable gear, balance is the key, you want to have some crit rate, some crit damage and also some attack (as there's not a lot of places where they overlap, you use crit rate gloves, crit damage runes and %attack chestpiece). the incentive for the (fairly early shift towards crit builds) is also the base 50% crit damage, which is a pretty big free stat that you'll be missing out without some adequate crit rate. once you start maxing out a damage dealing champion (assuming it's not one that does not crit), it's a big mistake not to max out the crit rate (at or as close as possible to 100%) and then, balance out crit damage and attack. there's even a formula for that, in order to find the sweet spot.
@scratch highly recommend investing into rally taking a brief look at your heroes on your account. You are missing the more damage legos for rally, but you have the mandatory support legos that when together make an insane combo. Lorentheel + Alton mean pretty much 100% up time of rally buff and attack up buffs. Team up with garius as tank you get your healer and tank. Then I would either invest in 2 rally nuke epics (not sure what you have) or personally I would go your huberg and Gitouna imo. Also Lorentheel may see underwhelming, but once you put books it is pretty much 100% up time of att up and recharge ult on all rally heroes, aka game changer
Thank you Skratch. That was very helpful. Now to do one on artifacts.... I love the new presets so you can have the right sets on for each area. Lady Valkiry.
I think like in many crit-based dmg games, crit rate is 75% enough for sure trigger...i sometimes use even 60-65% on some heroes that somehow trigger crit often than its expected dunno if it has something with accuracy...when i played for example dragonage dexterity is the one based attribute that affects on critical dmg maybe here accuracy affects on crit rate and attack on critical dmg? dunno guys im still learning watching your experiences...btw good video👍.
Skratch, I've run many test using different champions fighting agains 1 or many dummies in the training mode. I repeated the tests with the following gears: . Executioner Att Att (chest piece and gloves respectively) . Executioner Att Crit rate . Gambler Att Att . Gambler Att Crit rate The sub-stats were ballanced all around and the gears were the same for all the champions (no sub-stat variation, then). First, the champions had no artifacts and no runes. Then, I repeated the tests with a Crit dmg legendary rune and the with an Att legendary rune instead. In ALL cases, the Gambler had a better performance. And, I must say, the Gambler set outperformed the Executioner set by far. I've also noticed something pretty strange: Att Att Att did more damage than Att Crit rate Crit dmg. Maybe I'm missing something, but isn't the Gambler set focused on Att just better all around, even in Goblin and Arena?
On bosses yes, but the gambler proc is less good when their HP are low. So not great for goblin. In PvP it's mixed, if they stack HP gear it's better, of they don't, it's not.
One other point, gambler is better and scales with multi attackers. Whereas executioner does not and is flat regardless of hit rate. So one set vs the other also depends on the hero attack method
Nice video, one question, who is better to do damage in vortex (I suppose is Neptun) Erich who have multiple hits or Caraman torch man (fire element) who have passive of critical dmg and his abilities have more percentage of attack dmg? Or just legendary heroes are better than epic? If someone know it pls help me. Thanks. I have both but I don't know witch one lvl up earlier
I still don't fully understand one thing about the stats. It says, Accuracy is required to apply debuffs to an enemy. That's fair, that makes sense, so far so good, as expected, as in every other game with Acc vs Res checks. But it ALSO says, Accuracy is required to DESPELL DEBUFFS FROM ALLIES... Like.. EXCUSE YOU???????? Why would there be an AvR check on dispelling debuffs from Allies, that's just nonsense?! Or is the description simply poor?
There are way too many sets with enlightenment and too many items that have enlightenment as one of the stats. It has to be doing something, or maybe it was supposed to be the spell version of attack at some point.
@@SkratchG 100-150 a waste, and I guess Id be interested in seeing why/when you would create a resistance build. I can think of one, where the enemy targets the furthest hero, but what else.. And thank you btw. I'm on my way to getting legendary equipment because of your videos, who knew that it would only take placement, as I've been flailing for weeks! :)
i try and try so hard to gear appropriately, but im having the absolute worst luck. i dont mind grinding, its a crappy core of all RPG's ever. not getting a single good piece out of 100 is striaght up garbage tho

Would be nice to see a gear spreadsheet with ideal gear per hero…
started to play this game 2 days ago, this vid helped me👍

perfect timing with the gear preset changes, thanks skratch!
oh yeah, i was commenting in the last video about how hard is to grasp these information, hopefully this video can speed things up :D

Hi, yes I am using them as well, just slowly scrolling the 3 legos. They are very very strong haha

I actually spent 5 minutes scratching my head trying to figure out what set is and who axe champions are :D

How do you make your UI so small? Like so many pieces on screen at once?
I have a 4k Monitor and keep the resolution on 1920x1080P

Hi, Erich works pretty good, I haven't tried Caraman in there, he is more of an arena player
Do you need Accuracy for Artifacts? Because its a Debuff like Defense Down!?
yes

Great video ! Ty !
What a awesome Game Good Night Raid 😂❤ Dragonheire give me 3 Legendary Champs from 4 Dices 😮 never see this on my Raid Account...

Enlightenment affects poison damage and healing and some dauntless combo attack skills does a lot lol
Very odd, you had zero or almost zero on all of your heros for resistance, aren't they then exposed?
For resistance if you dont do resistance build is no point to put 20-30-50 res is just a waste of stats

Hello, your videos are too quiet. Btw thanks for them =)
Hmmm this title is very familiar. 🤔 ripping titles is bad move
yeah very familiar used it like a dozen times for the last 4 years!
Wow.. you must have spent alot of time farming domains heving so many 100 lvls
My man your voice is very low.
Is it? Thanks. Will have a look to check the audio settings
It's too complicated language..."derivative" blah blah...I have no idea what that means.
This game seems more complicated than raid.
