I just picked up Piano Santal on my trip to Paris! I love it so much, I’m a big fan of the creamy sandalwood. I wanted to test it first because not all lactonic fragrances work for me, and I’m so glad I did. I’ll probably wear it a lot in the fall but I like in the warm weather too, very soothing sandalwood.
I love creamy, milky sandalwood fragrances. Santal calling, Piano Santal, Santal Blanc are my favorites so far.
I'm always keen on amber, so that Ambre Cello is right up my alley.
It's quite good.
Encens asakusa is one of the nicest, most ethereal incense fragrances I've ever smelled. I think it's really beautiful with lovely round edges, long lasting and perfectly unisex too. I would love to smell piano santal! I feel inspired to smell all of them now! Thanks Sebastian :)

Have you explored Filippo Sorcinelli? He was an organist for many romantic catholic cathedrals. He has a whole line inspired by the organ of Notre Dame
Asakusa- pronounced with emphasis on second syllable. a SAK sa. The “u” is barely discernible. Had the good fortune to have heard this particular Koto musician live. She’s extraordinary. It’s a difficult instrument. 😊

I love these whole house reviews - I learn so much and each time I end up rabbit holing into the house myself and end so far, I up with at least 3 bottles from each. Could you possibly do a house review or Laboratorio Olfactivo and L’Arc? I sniffed them at Excence and then in Jovoy last month but would love to hear your take on the houses. I don’t think L’Arc has a discovery set - I’ve just ordered the Laboratorio discovery set from Ministry if Scent.
BTW whenever I do go down a rabbit hole from your videos, I do mention in my order or email to the boutique (Reine de Saba or store that sells many different houses) that I heard about it from you so you get the hat tip!

The only one I own from the brand is Liquor BPM, love at first sniff, one of my favorite Boozy Leather fragrances, the note of Pear is delicious! Need a discovery set to try the others. My favorite music is Prog, fom rock to metal, maybe that's why I love complex fragrances 😁Thanks for the video Sebastian!!!
