Softball after Dark

We had a great time Saturday for the first round of Parsons After Dark. We showcased the new lights at Lady Parsons Softball Field. Our Parsons competed in a doubleheader against Marion Military under the lights. Our guests were treated to $1 popcorn and hotdogs, which were donated by the Snead State cafeteria, and the first 100 fans received special Parsons After Dark T-shirts. We welcomed softball players with local youth leagues, and one pitcher, Brenlea Dru Rhoden of Boaz, threw out the first pitch before the evening game. Boaz Mayor David Dyar joined us for softball’s first home night game. If you missed out on our first Parsons After Dark, you can join us this Saturday, April 29, for our second event, this time at our baseball field! The Parsons compete in a doubleheader against Southern Union at 4 and 6 p.m. Admission is free. We’ll have $1 hotdogs and popcorn and a special ceremony between the games.
