Thank you. The drums could be programmed by bands with less talent. But LOVEBITES has Haruna. She is not an average drummer. We have all seen what she is constantly capable of. I highly doubt that they would feel the need to use programmed drums. Although I can see why someone, that doesn’t know the band, would think that.
Haruna Is The One Driving This, Without Her Speed, Power And Precision None Of This Would Be Possible. It Will Be Interesting To See How They Pull These New Songs Off Live.
The bass lines during the harmonized solos are delicious. Also kudos to the person who pissed them off seconds before the got into the booth for the recording. Especially Asami and Haruna must have taken it very personally.
This song is in my Top-3 Lovebites songs ever! I've listening to this song the whole day. I've heard it probably 30 times by now. It's a masterpiece of Thrash/Speed Metal 🤘💯❤️
I'm an old guy, 73, into rock based music, all genres, since the 1960s. Also love blues, jazz and classical music, as well as well played metal. In my humble opinion, Lovebites is the best band on the planet (NOT just best female band). Lovebites defies description.
Thanks for jumping on this so quickly. Yes, they are raising the bar, or moving the goalposts, or whatever analogy you want to use. Beautiful Brutality.
The LOVEBITES songs on "Judgment Day" are characterized by strong drum energy and fast guitars and more symphonic melodies. Many people who have heard these new songs have said: “Now, with a new bassist, LOVEITES has reached a dramatic turning point.” But my opinion is a little different. I think this turning point was two years ago. I felt a sign of that in "SET THE WORLD ON FIRE" at Tokyo Dome City Hall in 2021. And I listened to "PARANOIA" and "DYSTOPIA SYMPHONY" included in GLORY, GLORY, TO THE WORLD (Miho's last album) released at the same time. I feel that at this time they have established a stronger, faster and majestic symphonic style. I think their long hiatus was a recharge time to improve the quality of this style. Of course, there is no doubt that Asami's remarkable power-ups and Fami talent contributed a lot. (However, my hope is... don't forget to produce beautiful ballads.) ---------- from Nippon *It is a sentence using Google translation. I hope I conveyed my intentions correctly.
I think I understand your intentions. I agree that Set The World on Fire was a turning point. But I feel that they turned another point. Not just because of the new bassist but all of them. I feel that they are all playing even better than before.
@@nicolaskiepol3640 About the expression, I'm going to revise the sentence (my native language is not the English language). The world is not reduced to the English language. It is not very easy to express yourself correctly in a foreign language. About Miho's work, I follow her on Twitter and I value her work a lot. Lovebites fans have made offensive comparisons against her - perhaps unintentionally. For this I express my gratitude to her. You are partially correct. Sure, I must express myself correctly. But, you could be a little more polite with other people who wish well for others, without stating the obvious. Anyway, thanks. It is my intention to study more the language in English.
Asami is as metal as f$%k!! She writes this song and sings the sh*t out of it. I've listened to this song many times now, and freaking love it. To me it feels like a continuation of "Paranoia" and "Dystopia Symphony", being fast and chaotic and insanely tight at such a fast speed. Also, other than the bit of a happier major tone with the harmonic section of the solo run, this song along with "Judgement Day" has a more dark and ominous feel to it. M & M don't jam, as every solo run they have takes you in a direction to the next place. Forget about the high bar. They are in the stratosphere.
I had actually trailed off into a rant about them and how amazing their solos are but I cut it out. For clarification, I did not say that they jam. I agree they are in the stratosphere.
Crazy stuff. More heavy riffs and changing beats. how intricate was that. Metallica crying if listen to this..hahaha(joking). Yes, obviously they're upgrading. Great observation bro👍👍🤘🤘
LOVEBITES is unique in J-Metal in that they alone have cornered the market on Speed/Power/Thrash Metal. They are doubling down on what they have mastered. The first 3 releases off the new album hit each one of those 3 pillars. 🤘🐺🤘
What's totally great is, we have not heard a Miyako song at all with the 3 songs! Every song so far is Asami and Mao or just Mao! I'm sure Miyako is in there composition wise though!
@@Mysterious_Grimpond I'm sure that Miyako has great influence in every song, even when she is not listed as writer. We all can hear her influence in this song. I'm sure that her genius and involvement in everything is why Miho left. When we get a Miyako song(s) from this album it will be epic. She is a musical guru. Even Midori's playing has a little Miyako sound to it these days.
This reaction dropped really late for me in the U.K., so I saved it for “first Lovebites reaction of the evening”. You and I are of one mind when it comes to Lovebites. Somehow, way before the new music began to air, I would tell anyone and everyone that what they were going to release next will be way in advance of anything so far…meaning light years ahead of any putative competition. I’m not clairvoyant, I just “knew” because it is what Lovebites does. Strive for perfection. Strangely, I heard the same section as you on first listen and immediately thought “Sex Pistols”. Either way, punk. JD the album is going to be Lovebites Painkiller.
This song's tempo is supersonic. Insane -- not good for people with a heart condition. The menacing, rising guitar riffs echo Asami's last few phrases of "Judgement Day." It makes me wonder if this album will have more melodic tie-ins between songs or incorporate their 4-note encircling motif here and there. So far, I didn't catch any tie-ins in "The Spirit Lives On," but I often pick up on these after repeated hearings.
Recently a rapper called Lil Yatchy released an album that has blown away everyone, including me. People are struggling with putting it into a genre but its kind of like prog rock and being compared to pink floyd and tame impala, definitly nothing like the stuff hes put out before. The production and everything is so wild, Im sure you would enjoy it, I'd recomment the first and second tracks off the album "The BLACK Seminole" and the second "the ride- (featuring Teezo Touchdown"
I just released an Upchurch reaction today. Oh and it would not be nice. I tried to react to Texas but deleted it because it wasn’t good. You know how many of the creek squad like to carry on when I don’t say what they want me to say.
HARUNA 🤘 BEAST
she's a monster 🤘

Lovebites's Dissonance is "Painkiller" multiplied by a hundred!!!

The best all female Heavy Metal/Thrash Band in the world....🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

Great reaction. Some UA-cam reactor said his friend thought the drums could be programmed. I can't blame him, lol.
