- When we were researching pack n' plays and decided on getting the Nearby Napper by Graco we read a lot of reviews. Most of them said that the provided instructions were very hard to follow(they were correct!) and it took a lot of time to figure out on your own. So we thought we would film the process of us assembling it in the hopes that it would help you have an easier time putting it together!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! We had originally put this together months ago. When we "finished", we noticed the bassinet side did not lay flat - it had an incline like the napper side did. I thought it just needed an adjustment and decided to look at it again before realizing what I thought I could adjust was not adjustable! At 36.5 weeks pregnant, this made me super frustrated! I started reading reviews on Amazon about how the instructions specifically for the napper/bassinet were not clear and how people watched UA-cam videos to help. Which led me here and you helped me realize what we had done wrong! Took less than 10 minutes to fix and now the bassinet lays flat! Phew! Thanks again!!
You have no idea how much I needed this video. I almost cried in relief when you couldn't put the poles in that twisty thing because it took me nearly 20mins to do that part.

I’m 19 years old and I’m currently 34 weeks today && this is the pack n play that I ordered for my babygirl . 😌 Before I ordered it the reviews about it said that the instructions on how to put it together was a little hard to understand so i made sure that I looked up a video on how to put it together and I came across yours ! I watched it way before it even got here and I loved how you guys put it together and explained everything thoroughly , so I saved it to my watch later list until it was delivered and time to put it together . && the package just came today . I’m in the process of putting it together now . I opened all the boxes and just threw the instructions right to the side . Lol Great Video 👍🏽 keep up the good work . 💪 so happy that this video was made .

The user manual does not fully explain every detail needed to properly assemble this pack n play. Thank you so much for posting this informative video! Soooo appreciated🙏

I had a feeling that we installed the napper bar incorrectly. Thanks to your video we where able to correct it. Did not realize that the napper had hidden holes that the bars go through. lol Thank you!

Guys!!! Yall are awesome... had it completely assembled from the terrible instructions btw and found two left over poles with foam...they go in napper at around 11 minutes. Thanks so much!!!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I normally have no trouble following the instructions but these were absolute CRAP instructions. I actually assembled the bassinet wrong without looking at the video... and knew something wasn't right. Had to take it all apart!! Went searching and I thank you kindly for your video. I seriously can’t say thank you enough for this video! My dad put ours together but did the bassinet/baller wrong... it always seemed off to me and I didn’t quite understand what was wrong until I watched this. Omg SO much better now! Thank you from one parent to another!

This video was absolutely necessary thank y’all for putting it out here. This was my mistake but I didn’t put battery in the bassinet /napper for vibration before locking in the poles so message to anyone don’t do what I did lol. That took way too much muscle to unlatch the poles to access the battery compartment.

Leslie Michelle hey. Umm I can see that being a potential issue yeah. I was never far away when she napped in this which wasn’t often. I did watch her face at times if she turned her head and was too close to the siding of the bassinet whatever that material is called it doesn’t seem breatheable. I didn’t attribute that to it leaning side to side though. But it does do that as well so you haven’t heard incorrectly.
Graco should pay yall for this instruction video! We put ours together via the instructions and it did not turn out right. Thank you so much for the right information💙

Hello guys. Thank you so much. I was crazy trying to figure out the instructions but your video help me a lot. What I don't know is how to asamble the batteries.
Thank you so much for the napper/bassinet direction. The instructions are a bit unclear on this section without your clear video instruction!!! but when I go back and read the instructions, it makes sense..I had the "oh, DUH" moment. But most may agree that no, the instructions could be better :)
You Guys saved me from throwing it out the instructions is the worse you made it so much easier and I'm having a hard time figuring out how to put the battery in the gadget for the music I don't see how to open it, I'm really thinking about sending it back my living room is limited space and the way my sofas are I don't have much room anyway I try bummer

I breezed through everything until I got to the changer. The instructions were horrible, it was taking me so long to figure out what to do with those rods I felt my wife and baby judging me lol, thank the Lord for this video, u made it so simple now I'm the awesome husband/dad that can fix anything again

Thank you SO MUCH for this AWESOME video!!! So glad we came across this, and congrats on your baby! :) As others have said, the instruction booklet was not very good. In case this is helpful for recent purchasers: we bought the Tessa color in June 2020 (says it was manufactured in Sept 2019), and there were a couple MINOR differences in the bassinet that made our assembly seem a tiny bit simpler: the fabric holes for the metal frame were very similar at both ends (instead of smaller, tighter holes on one side shown at the 10:50 mark in the video), and it didn't seem like you could mix up inserting the metal poles into the high vs low side (rotating plastic piece shown at the 12:45 mark in the video). Again, THANK YOU!!!

Your video was great! 2 questions: 1. When the basinet /napper is in place the material sides are loose -- extra material, as if it has extra material. Is that how yours is? 2. The mobile is very noisy - a whirring sound.
Hi! We’re glad you liked the video :) in regards to your questions: 1. I hadn’t noticed extra fabric. However take a look at the 17min mark in the video. We show a close up of the napper/bassinet. It’s unfortunate I had to watch a video on how to finish assembly but thanks for the video! The foam covered bars for the basinet confused me on where they went especially after seeing pics of it installed wrong like I had it.

Took me a while to figure out the bassenet. Had to take it apart a couple times. When I did the little push pens got knocked out of place and wouldn't pop back through the hole. Then I ended up pushing them further into the pipe. I used a scrap copper wire and put a tiny hook at the end and was able to pull it back out of the pipe and get it back into position so it would pop out of the hole again. What a hassle.
Oh man! That does sound difficult. We’re so glad you solved it. The bassinet is the hardest part for sure.
