Yupp... It belongs to the subsidiary of the Kedah State Government, PKB. Kedah state doesn't even allow 4D. So very much halal and no alcohol in the hotel. The plus side however is that a few minutes walk from the hotel is the Nagoya area. And there you can find a few non-halal activities at night... Not much, but better than nothing 😉
@@keangwooichoo6138 Yupp.... There used to be( maybe still around...not sure) a hotel called Nagoya Hotel there. And I guess after a while everyone just called that area Nagoya. A small area in Kuah Town. 2 or 3 shop blocks and a couple of food courts. It's full of Thai people, a few Chinese/Thai restaurants, and a few 'bars/club-ish' shop lots. Pretty alright place if you can keep your wits about you and not get into trouble.
