You know what at this point in time I don't care what the WNBA has to say anymore, or what poster they want to show, they already showed us who they are and it is not good. Lose Clark and the WNBA is finished!
Let's be real. Clark doesn't need the league to promote her. She has jumped the shark she is the needle. This league is too dumb to call out. They don't know what the hell they are doing. Playoffs are here let's just enjoy the ride. To be honest the NBA needs to straighten this out. There is obviously no acumen in place to do the job.
If the Fever are knocked out in the first round, watch the drop off in views and attendance. That alone will tell a significant story.
And watch CC games get more views than the finals

I absolutely agree! This seems like much ado about nothing. If I have learned anything watching CC since she was a sophomore at Iowa, it is she isn't bothered by this. Why should we be??
It sounds like CC. Let Kelsey promote Indiana Fever. Why not? She's been with the Fever longer, and Caitlyn is a sweetheart with a humble heart. She knows.

Mitchell is a fantastic player.
But the poster (as they admit) is supposed to be the most influential, representative players of those teams.
The poster is not about gratitude or gifting something. As per their criteria, it isn't.
If Mitchell had the same exact stats as Caitlin's, if Mitchell attracted such massive crowds, then yes, by all means, she should be there. But she hasn't and she doesn't.

That's okay. Let others have a chance to shine. But to be honest the primary reason people r going to the Arenas or Stadium is to watch her play not the others.

How much are they going to rob her of what she's earned? They've passed over her for other awards, they're definitely going to rob her of MVP, which all her stats, but two, are better than Aja's. She elevated her team, teammates games, franchise, and the wnba as a whole. She's broken/set over 60 records, fills stadiums wherever she goes, got them a multi-billion media rights deal, private transportation, etc. Her contribution to the game is going to affect the league for years to come and put money into the pockets of these ungrateful winches! The league doesn't appreciate her. If the Fever don't make it to the finals, let's see if the attendance and viewership are the same!

Caitlin doesn't need the "promotion". She's a generational talent and has the guts to face these pedantic, entitled commentators and players.
What is surprising in all of this is the the media and the WNBA know they are snubbing her again. They know it, and they also know what millions of basketball fans think about this bigotry against this 22 yo talent. And knowing WE ALL know, they think (proudly) they're giving us the finger, when in fact they are only risking the demise of the league...sooner or later.
And by the way: on Bloomberg and other finances-related newsmedia the prediction is that the WNBA is slated to lose between 30 and 50 million dollars. And that's in spite of the contributions Caitlin has brought.

There are 2 decades of EGOs involved in this game (can’t call it a sport, because up till now there was no sportsmanship in the game!) Now we have someone leading an army of players and fans who want to see the sport come First. The battle cry is, If You Love It, They Will Come, and they are coming by the thousands! The Selfish attitude of the past has been exposed and the Winning attitude has arrived with a Big Can of Whip Ass! If you want to be a self made princess go to Sports Illustrated and leave sportsmanship and teamwork to the professionals!
The reason C.C. drowns out all the noise is because of her parents and family, I bet the only verification C.C. ever needs is the love of her parents and family, being 1 of the best basketball player's ever is just an added bonus. I never watched basketball b4 C.C. arrived on the scene. To all the haters C.C. has more love surrounding her to deflect all that hate/jealousy and hopefully it'll keep you all quiet because you'll look even more hateful/ jealous if you carry on your narrative

More often than not, though, getting the attention of everyone for the wrong/negative reasons ends up being destructive.
CC is a star and all the wnba “ladies” are jealous! She is a star and will shrug this off like the champ she is! The television viewership will drop if the @fever are eliminated early! WNBA are missing the boat if they don’t get on the CC train
I am ok with KM on the promo. But you can make better by putting 2 or 3 stars on a square instead of one, making everyone happy.

an absolutely brilliant marketing strategy! put cc on and it is just another advert for the wnba. but leaving her off!? a stroke of advertising genius. 100x as many people will react to her being off that advert than if she was on it! kudos to the advertising agency. as an advertiser, your ad you has to be noticed. and when noticed it has to motivate someone to react. and this is exactly what leaving her off did.
It has to be something more. I don't know who came up with the promotion, but leaving CC off it is inexcusable. The entire department should be fired. The whole reason that the W is doing as well as it is this year is CC and the Fever. What is wrong with you people? Leaving off the ROY and the possible MVP? Are you insane?

Lets get real here, I think those that is running the WNBA is proving why they have been such a failure over the past few years as what they doing now to great players. Clark can play in Europe. I wish her well. If she ever leaves then the WMBA is done. I am so tired of all the drama. I have enjoyed basketball since 1970 and I've never seen such talent as CC. The league and the officials need to clean up the game before someone is going to get seriously hurt. Players like Angel have great talent but they have a bad attitude and bring great discredit to the sport.
I think they are doing this to cait because so that all her haters don't have to worry about her being on the court making them all look bad.
I am a fever fan but I think it's only fair that Mitchell should be the one featured in that promo. Respect for the veterans. How would you feel if you were MK seeing CC in that promo.. IMO, even CC would have liked MK TO BE THE ONE
