Complete Interlock driveway construction (Time Lapse)

WHAT DOES INSTALLATION INVOLVE?
Excavation: 18” to 20” deep.
Compaction: Compacting Subgrade (ground), then Base aggregate material until achieves density to avoid deformation during freeze thaw cycle.
Geotextile fabric: Woven geotextile (special fabric) main purpose is to separate the base from the sub base. It stops clay from migrating into the compacted gravel and eroding it over time.
Triaxial Geogrid: is an advanced product specifically designed for trafficked surfaces, primarily use for driveway.
Paver: Eva Champlain grey, Blu60 Onyx Black from Techo-Bloc
Step Landing Overlay: Raffinatio cap from Techo-Bloc
Bedding sand: pavers are laid on a bed of coarse sand placed directly on the compacted base
Edging: Snap Edge Restraint holds pavers tightly together enabling consistent interlock and preventing pavers from spreading. Edge restraints will be spiked into the compacted base.
Finishing: Sweep Polymeric sand into the joints between the pavers, this locks the pavers together creating a very durable surface.
