PTX mixes traditional Christmas music in with other songs. As others have said, many of us don’t care when it’s played. Listening to PTX is a joy all year long. There are so many videos out there with them performing in different settings that are fun. They’ve performed twice on the Kennedy Center Honors, the Star Wars tribute from the AMA awards, Capitol 4th of July performances, Masked Singer 2023, Grammy opening number 2024.
Run to You and Can’t Help Falling in Love with You are two good ones as well. Over the River is excellent. Also they made a short film about how they recorded the Evergreen album.
They do stretch the "Christmas themes" a bit on their holiday albums. "Warm woolen mittens" are worn when it is cold outside. Maybe that's what they were thinking about when they added it to a holiday album. So glad you liked it.
TX so much. This Pentaholic loves that group. My favorite of all time is - well anything Pentatonix. You are appreciated. Greetings from South Africa
I like that Scott’s favorite thing was a skull. Recommend their video of O Holy Night.
You should be aware that as far as pentaholics are concerned you can "get away" with reacting to Christmas songs any time. So many #Pentatonix albums are Christmas albums that most of us gave up on tryng to separate things years ago; we just listen to their music year-round and don't worry whether it's seasonal.
Also, Pentatonix always seems to include at least one non-Christmas song on a Christmas album. They released "Hallelujah" on a Christmas album. And "Prayers For This World." And "The Prayer." And "Kiss From a Rose." None of those are Christmas songs, but all of them were released on Pentatonix Christmas albums, and at least two of them are Grammy-worthy.
If you, personally, object to listening to Christmas songs in the summer that is, of course, your prerogative, but don't tell yourself that you're doing it for our benefit.
I live this one so much! One of my happiest memories is going worth my mom, grandma and sister to see the sound of music in theaters (as an anniversary special).
Love everything about this!!
Puts you in a happy light mood, can’t wait for more! ♥️
Betamax, eh? That whole tech throw down was one reason why I completely ignored the 8-track and cassette stretch of buying music and skipped straight from vinyl to CDs. Plus, I couldn’t afford to replace all my favorites each time the format changed. I did have about three 8-tracks for my car, including a Stevie Wonder that I listened to over and over. Thanks for keeping Pentatonix in your rotation, I always enjoy your videos! Peace …
Thanks for the reaction. Fun video.Hard to believe there are no musical instruments
The ending is awesome
Halloween
Christmas songs is a style and not a type of music.
