Creating Small Groups for Math and Reading Instruction at the beginning of the school year.

Discussion of how I assess my students at the beginning of the school year in order to form groups for small group instruction. I use the Big 20 assessment to help form my small groups in Math. I use the EL Language Arts spelling assessment to form the small groups that I will use for reading instruction.
