Since I found this channel I've *never* been disappointed with any video, and the hard work certainly shows. You deserve many more subscribers, its rare to find channels like this nowadays. Keep up the great work!
On grounded mode, It's pretty realistic. There's hardly any supplies or resources, in the game mode, in buildings where surviving human's have been and once occupied.
I agree. Playing grounded mode was the best experience to play that game, truly feeling like how the game was intended. Last Of Us Part II lacks a lot when it comes to surviving with limit things you have.
@uli_Gio I know I'm late af to this, but I'm pretty sure naughty dog stated in an interview that grounded mode IS how the last of us is supposed to be played as it gives the most realistic experience the this scenario
Nice to se you making a video about my favourite game. I played this game about a month ago and it changed my life. The game is so rich in characterisation and has a fascinating world and some grounded and enjoyable gameplay. The soundtrack is masterful and the voice acting is amazing. The game made my mid term so much better and after that I played Part 2 which I loved as well.
I neither remember commenting this nor do I remember watching this channel rediscovered it and rewatched some videos to discover this comment, my point still stands
Thanks! Honestly, I’ve wanted to make UA-cam videos for years (I made heaps of them about 10 years ago, but we don’t talk about that), and when I was considering what was most interesting to me, I narrowed it down to two topics: history and video games. Everything clicked. Videos like this one were a natural offshoot-take the comparison and apply it to science instead of history. Definitely not something I can apply too often (not much of a science guy, generally speaking), but I had to give it a go for one of my favourite games.
@@RealPixels Glad you enjoyed it. I also found the new infected, better stalkers more challenging and interesting. The science behind them was quite interesting as well. Will you make a video on the game?
I’ve made one on the game’s ending (comparing it to Red Dead Redemption 2’s), but I’m not sure if there’s enough differences to justify making another The Real Science episode. I definitely plan on making a video essay about the game at some stage, I’d like to replay it first though.
unlike the Infected of the game, Cordyceps would realistically make its host kill itself in the form of offering it to a Predator. Which is honestly more terrifying.
@nick gurr if he's confused enough to not know which one is what, then he's wrong anyway. What's your statement about? It's not easy to confuse fungus, virus and bacteria. It's mainly because people don't entirely comprehend their differences that they confuse them. So he's wrong anyway. By the way, I'm a biologist, so...
8:23 Sorry but the fucked up that part, no further improvements were made, they treated infected as a part of obstacles in a path. Instead they focused on shitty storyline
After all the bullshit Part 2 puts you through they end the game with a dense message that “killing is bad” after killing a lot of people in the game itself..

2:30 damn this changes the gaming experience quite a bit, always knowing the human is still in there
All your videos have been great so far. You deserve more views and subscribers. Good work, can't wait to see what your next video will be about.
TLOU Part 3: Real Life Edition
If there is a Part 3 hopefully it has a bit better production and less troubled compared to the production for Part II.
@@itsblitz4437 last of us 2 but Joel kills Abbey instead

This channel is severely underrated. Thank you for making all of these high quality videos man!
Your videos are always so engaging
Fantastic video not that it’s surprising, your content so far is great

Sucks the infection took a huge back seat in TLOU2 considering it was one of the most interesting things about the first game.
The infection wasn't the main point of the first game.
Fantastic video, as always!
Wow! This pixels guy has some real talent with editing and commentary
I’m so glad I found your channel. What gave you the idea/inspiration to make this comparison videos?

How does this only have 740 views? This is great work, keep it up dude!
What did you think of the shamblers, rat king and the new behaviour of the stalkers? What were your thoughts on the game itself as well?
I love the second game, and I think the new Infected types and behaviours worked well.
@@RealPixels Glad you enjoyed it. I also found the new infected, better stalkers more challenging and interesting. The science behind them was quite interesting as well. Will you make a video on the game?

@@RealPixels Understandable I'll check the ending video out. I look forward to the essay, great videos keep up the good work.
Enjoyed this immensely, thanks for that 😍😍😍

amazing video!!!
Fantastic channel
You deserve more subscriber
It's not a virus, though. It's a fungus.
@nick gurr Then why he confused both?

@nick gurr How the fuck do YOU know? You need some therapy to work your issues out. Damn
Please make a TLOU2 video!
"In a world where the *virus* could make a leap to humans"
It's not a virus, it's a fungus
Among us
Let us in!
What track is the last one trying to find it no dice
Fucking amazing video wow
Tbh, the explanation the show gives with global warming, causing fungi to evolve it puts things into perspective a fair bit.
7:53 I know it's where but this makes me sad because I kinda want to live in an apocolypse because it would be interesting:(
It’s actually not fair that you don’t have more views and subs
"may have taken inspiration from" oh really?
What do you mean "Unlikely to see"? Lmao
We probably won’t see a full-scale apocalypse like this in our lifetime-but who can say for sure?
TLOU 1: An in-depth appreciation, and fully researched observation into the world of Cordyceps
TLOU 2: BIG BOI GO SPLIT NOW
Do How Historically is Fnaf Cause In Fnaf 2 Mangles Radio Said (We got a little boy without his frontlobe) can you do it
hmmm goods idea buts i'm scare thats the toxic fanbase of fnaf come to ruins the comment section of this channel
I would have wanted rdr1 video
But we got something just as interesting to watch
8:23 Sorry but the fucked up that part, no further improvements were made, they treated infected as a part of obstacles in a path. Instead they focused on shitty storyline

@STN Ace Yes
It's a fictional story, none of it is accurate.
300th like
calling the what happened in the wake of Floyd's death "protests" is giving too much leniency to the people who participated.
"Fiery, but mostly peaceful." Yeah, it's kinda like saying Epstein killed himself. Pretty absurd.
