The "interview" was the social media guy reading over the information that we filled out on the paper that they gave us and repeating some of the questions on it for about 3 minutes. They said we had 1 day to decide and pay because the next class was starting in 2 days. The instructors have no industry experience. They are giving false information on the topics they are "teaching". The in-person classes are once a month and also ran by a woman with no industry experience who cusses at the students and says inappropriate things to the teens and younger kids in the class. Before we signed up, they said "she is exactly what we are looking for and this is the prime age". She hasn't been eligible for a single casting call they've sent us yet.

They are qualified once they learn the curriculum. It's not an academic school. It's a specialized school. They look for people who can teach acting, runway, etc, who have experience and can use pre-set teaching plans.
Yes but the only qualifications they’re getting are from Barbizon themselves, it’s essentially a pyramid scheme where they taking people every year and a few people get promoted to teachers, and then to the corporate staff etc. etc., or you can become part of model mafia and go work their competitions, but none of this Curriculum or any of these people are actually “sag” qualified to be teaching as far as the acting goes. I won’t speak too much on the modeling, but I’m pretty sure a real professional runway model will look at the curriculum and tell you that it’s not teaching you the actual business, they give you a Barbie doll make up kit and teach you a couple walks in church clothes. Each class puts together a cheap mock runway show to get “approved” for graduation. And then most of these girls will never be seen again unless they continue to pursue their own endeavors outside of Barbizon, and then once they do you realize Barbizon didn’t teach you anything substantial
I appreciates your desire to warn the public of the things with barbizon but where was that public outreach concern when you were working for them?? I mean the way you're elaborating about Barbizon suggest that you've seen and experienced some scamming and evil things while serving as an employee!!! If you in fact seen and experience some scamming or any inappropriate things, then you're just as guilty as they are and should be ashamed of yourself for not reporting it as a concerned human being!

Its not a joke
As i signed up for barbizon i would say it is 100% FREE IT IS NOT A JOKE....i have the audition stuff and everything so as kids walk the runway to fam i would say that the former copany is GREAT
Mia Animation no it’s not it was $2,000
liar It was like 3,000 it is never free
Idk, I had a lot of fun. It’s just a class, they don’t make any “career success promises.”
Did they fire you? Are you quit?
