Really enjoy your videos. I like seeing the options there. Keep up the good work!
Love the large open space plan & the urinal!!
First stop is to get the essentials (beer, bread, pb & j, bacon & eggs, coffee and some urinal deodorant pucks).
I'm sure lt wouldn't take that much more to quickly settle in...
Did hear a few noisy dogs to ruin the peace & quiet but hey - it's reasonably nice with all that terrace space too!!
Thanks for watching Don! Yeah, it was pretty quiet….and I dig the urinal too😂😉
Best thing for urinals to stop the smell is what I've seen used in massive bars and clubs in Thailand they cut up lines throw them in the bottom of urinals the smell is really pleasant you could use calamasi or limes in Philippines
Place looks good to me and I like that the apt. is on the 2nd floor and for me having the landlord/landlady living onsite is a plus - once I become friends with them of course :)
I liked the motorcycle ride in the beginning of the video and noticed you pass quite a few very
good looking houses along the way.
Thanks as always for watching Robert! Landlord on site has its pros and cons. I’m glad you like the bike rides. I’m trying to show how far each place is from a common spot
Best Bargain yet, 20K, the urinal is hilarious! That Apt. is spacious, and my Pinay would cover the terrace with plants.
Yes the bikes are getting used correctly! 😊
Hahaha, that was actually sped up. In the video, that was about a minute BUT it really took about 3.5 minutes
I like it, but there doesn't seem to be electrical outlets in the kitchen...perhaps I missed them?
Thanks for watching Jillie! You know what, I didn’t even notice that
Thanks to you and your girl for another great video and I love looking at your rental videos.. I would write your girl's name but I do not know how to spell it so if you would put it in the beginning then I would not misspell it.. lots of girls get upset when you misspell their names..hehe.. when you were riding the motorcycles you did speed up the video didn't you? Thanks 👍👍
Thanks Richard, my girlfriend’s name is Jennalyn. She actually has her own channel “Filipina Life With Jennalyn”. Check it out if you get a chance. Hahaha, yes, we sped up the beginning. It actually took us about 3.5 minutes to get there
Nice countryside area and I like the gas oven & stove. I also like the large outside "patio" but would like to see more overhang coverage so one could sit out there while it's raining to enjoy the cooler temperature.
Yeah, that’s why I was saying it would great if you could find an umbrella that would fit in that table. Valencia is actually pretty pleasant temperature wise. Especially at night
...And you get to share it with a nice looking young lady. Worth the price!
Hahaha, that’s be a helluva a deal if Jennalyn was included! She has her own channel “Filipina life with Jennalyn” if you want to see more of her😉
Lots of good things with this place. Cooler temps, upstairs, built to take the storms HUGE fridge! All that open space is nice especially with the terrace. I'd be worried my outdoor parties might be a pain to the landlord. The only thing missing for me is access to the ocean to swim; that's why I plan to be close to you in Bacong, for healthy living. But the price there is great.
Yeah, there are definitely pros and cons with your living landlord living onsite
Nice find, thank you Kevin. Very nice apartment. Good price. Furnished and all. Just need pots and pans so figure 200=300 to buy plates and pans etc?? I know they are higher there. Do you know the distance to the beach? I always want at least a washer. Could probably get someone to wash it in town for 15$ or 20$ a month? Again thank you The Oven is a plus! 15$ or 20$ a month for propane?
Thanks for watching G! It’s about a half an hour from any decent beach. The river and other fresh water options are close though 😉
@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 cool so freshwater fishing? Bathing? half hour is not bad at all if you have a bike. Bless you sir. Tell your cute GF thanks for helping. Very nice find.
I think I would look for one of those places that’s about $170 a month one bedroom one bath to start out and then maybe move into something bigger like this later if I found a girlfriend or a roommate. The place seems a little pricey.
I think the start out I would like to stay in a hotel somewhere with a few amenities maybe even a swimming pool .
If I’m going to pay extra.
That’s the thing everyone has different taste. I would maybe have to stay in a place overnight just to see how loud the dogs and roosters are maybe even stay for a long weekend and see how noisy the karaoke is???
Thanks for watching Steven! Yes, I’d definitely recommend driving by on a Saturday night and checking out the possible karaoke nightmare. Most Filipinos only get Sunday off, so they live it up on Saturday night
i love all the house rentals that you do? What areas of the Philippines do you show for house
rentals? i don't know if I could deal with the squeaking roosters at 5am, lol.
Squeaking roosters just need a little oil. Crowing roosters, nothing you can do! Lol Kentucky 😂
Thanks for watching Wildcat! I do homes in the Dumaguete, Valencia, Dauin area of Negros Oriental
@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 thanks... ill keep watching your channel!! my move is under 2 years away, and haven't decided where my home base is going to be before I find my final destination. So far Makati and Iloilo has my attention.
Did they specify if they were willing to do month to month?
@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 suggestion for future content. it'll be helpful to first timers if you put a couple decent month to month/short-term rentals in your property rotation.
My son will be in Valencia in the morning looking for a home that will accommodate a dog. Prefer a home gated yard no roosters and stray dogs. He may reach out to you if he hasn’t already.
Thanks for watching Patti! Have your son contact Alma on Facebook “Alma Almonte Fulco”. She can definitely help him 😉
That living area needs a big arse tv Kevin.
Thanks for watching Ray! Yeah, Thatd be cool, especially with surround sound 😉
@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 Welcome mate. I'm off to Siquijor for a month on Tuesday. Anything interesting going on over there I'll let u know.
nice place
Yeah, and it’s in a decent location. Just minutes from Valencia and about 10 minutes to Hyper Mart and Robinson’s Mall😉
Probally the rent could be justified if it was repainted inside and out in a more neutral colour as it is a terrible colour noe. Also the ste narrow stairs not good for retirees. The road in was a horroneed to see the better road. Also if you dont drive it would be very hard to get trike or easyride out of there..More accessible places with good colour schemes and lower rent are available all over.
Hey Kevin… I just found out the other day that I got Manila, Philippines post. I’ll be there in July 2024 for 4 years. Looking forward to hanging out with you all….best regards.
Nice looking. Seems quite as well.
Thanks for watching Eric! Yes, it was quiet while we were there. I always recommend going by on a Saturday night. That’s the night Filipinos let loose.
Nice property, great price. Like the owner living close.
Bargain
That’s true, if something breaks, you just go downstairs and knock on the door 😉
Love the bike rides!
Thanks Bin! I’ll try to keep adding them. Sometimes we do multiple ones in the same area in a day, so I can only have one starting point
I appreciate your vids. Are there many smaller type places in the 15K range
Thanks for watching Zack! I’ll ask the realtor what she has. I never know what we are going to see until we get there
I'm going to move to there but still work in USA do you think it will work
Thanks for watching Jerry! Yes, I know people who split time and do that
Good video as always. But I won't live in the same building with landlord. It will feel like you are living next to your parents who will judge you with all what you do or don't do :)
Are there any apts that are handicapped accessible?
I hate to say this Stephen, but the Dumaguete area is way behind when it comes to that. I have not seen any apartments, they don’t have sidewalks, and only the newest places have any kind of ramps
What’s your thoughts on the U.S preparing for war with China & Russia and using the Philippines as the future battleground in fighting for Taiwan independence in 2027 ; potentially becoming WWIII ?
Apparently, all the US media both corporate and independent are all IP locked so all the other countries have no clue whats going on inside the US.
I’m one of the people who don’t know. I have not watched or read the news since December 2022
Why rent in Philippine is so high 😳
Thanks for watching John! The Dumaguete area has more expats per capita than most cities in the Philippines. Foreigners pay more money.
@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 that effects the overall rent in the area and ordinary Philippinoes will not be able to afford the same
your friend isn't going to last very long with that kind of driving.
Thanks for watching Fred! That part of the video was sped up. It was only 1 minute in the video, but it really took almost 4. We probably never went more than 15 MPH
WoWoW... quite reckless motorbike riding in opening scene. While off highway. Riding down shared??? Unpaved lanes ... Seriously injuring killing a child, pet or injuring rider.???
Hahaha, that was sped up. That actually took 3.5 minutes but it’s only 1 minute in the video
LOL, always the uninformed Karen here to give their uninformed opinion....God I don't miss people like you. Thank God for the Philippines.
nice BIG place! Jennalynn modeling on the furniture is a good "picture yourself here view" great rental finds .
Hahaha, thanks for watching Rory!
