One Happy Dog, Two Windmills, Three Churches and some stunning countryside views

We had a busy day! First of all we were in Plumpton Green where we visited a friend and then went to see the beautiful Church there. We went on to Ditchling Common for a nice walk and then up to see the Jack and Jill Windmills before heading to another Church with a difference! Finally we visited the beautiful 11th century Church of St Peter and John the Baptist in Wivelsfield, near Haywards Heath, with it's ancient 1,000 year old yew tree, before heading home.

Beautifully done Lynn. Ky is such a treasure. Always running and searching for things only he knows. A real water lover. Loved the windmills and the quaint little church. That building with the steps at the front looked like a village hall, or even an old school.

Hi Lynn Richard and Ky what a beautiful day out you had. The stain glass windows are beautiful especially the one of christ that was magnificent, I also liked the very ornate pulpit brilliant we have got so.e beautiful churches I this country. Ky was oh so happy when he found the water, and then the space to just run . Love all the old cottages and of course the gardens. Thanks Fiona, we certainly did. I didn't film it but we also had a lovely lunch out. We took my friend who is on crutches and housebound at the moment as she's had a foot operation, so that was nice and she enjoyed getting out into the countryside. We took her home before we started these adventures. The stained glass in churches always blows me away with their beauty especially when the sun shines through; we are so lucky to have such wonderful historic places to visit and enjoy. That was a bonus three churches, although I have visited Plumpton Green and Wivelsfield (I have photographed every Parish Church in East Sussex) 😊. Ditchling and Plumpton have great churches too, thank you for another great video Lynn.

A hat trick of churches!! I loved the ornate pulpit in the first one. I remember when The Forge cottage opposite Pyecombe church used to intermittently open as a tea room with delicious cakes but it is so kind of that church to offer it's own hospitality. I always love to stop there whilst out walking. You have a slightly new look to your video? Thanks for a very entertaining resume of your day. Ky is a (watery) star!!

Oh interesting about The Forge Jean. I was so surprised to see the hospitality laid on at the Church, presumably for the South Downs Way walkers, of whom we saw many. Lovely Church with such a great feeling about it. The other two were nice too.
Yes a more summery 'welcome' I felt was in order.
