Well, Starmer’s wishful thinking. Saying is one thing, implementing is another. Some of the things he has proposed is nothing new - recruit within not overseas. There is still not enough workers e.g NHS, they will still recruit from overseas. - It will take him awhile to implement some of what he promised during his campaign. The voters don’t forget. Remember, some of these things will have to be debated in parliament.
- For Starmer to have won, the voters were fed up with the Tories, not that Labour had better policies. Blair opened the borders for Migration, didn’t start with conservative.

If you are with an employer on an old salary threshold and you switch employer, will the new salary threshold apply to you?
Because the annual salary on my cos states is 22,300, but the new threshold states 23,300 for health and care visas . Do I have to meet the £23,300 ?

Unfortunately, the answer is no. It is very painful experience to live in the UK as an illegal immigrant. You cant get legal work and you will be exploited heavily by backdoor employers. Housing will be a problem, no bank account, no insurance, no nhs etc. Dont do it.

I got married in May 2014 and obtained UK settled status in 2019. Now, I want to bring my wife and our two children, who are currently residing in India, to join me in the UK. Our first daughter was born in March 2015 and our second daughter in September 2017.
