Yes you can use the containers to plant flowers and put them by the concrete of your house. They should survive and be very pretty.

I too love Joyce and Peter and the children who are very helpful and hard working for their age. I loved the video and the idea of using the left over tiles is a great idea for the kitchen garden. Joyce sometimes asks for advice and for people to comment on certain things. I spent my early years in a village and I know that my parents did certain things the traditional way as their grandparents did before them. With regards to cleaning and cooking when they didn't have the things we take for granted today and eat the things we don't think of eating like a whole fish with fins, head of chicken with its feet with nails on the feet, but some cultures do because that's what they are used to from childhood. With regards to comments about the rag used for cleaning the floor instead of 😮a mop, any comments about looking for a new mop is sound advice with regards to way the floors are cleaned and whilst Joyce is happy doing all the bending it is not for girls as young as Phoebe and Sharon bending like that as back problems can develop later in life.
When its time to harvest basil cut it by the stems. Keep all leaves on stems. Tie the stems together hang upside down to dry. After they dry , crumble all the leaves and put them in a jar with lid. You will have seasoning all winter. Don't wait for basil to flower before you harvest. It will change the taste.throw stems away after you dry your leaves and crumble.

In the U.S. the homes are all different the home I grew up in had nice stairs to the attic & basement. In the South there are no basements and the attics have pull & push down folding stairs. I worry about snakes climbing into your home from the outside but if your roof is secure, your subscribers will not mention it anymore if it's sealed well. We mostly get sqirrels 🐿 & bats 🦇 in our attics here & everyone know the bats, rats, and snakes are more dangerous in your country so that is why everyone is concerned for your family 😊.
