[APH] America - Go the Distance

First of all, I'm not American. I made this video for a friend who requested it. I tried to capture the idealisms of the patriotic American. The story behind the video is that America, starting from nowhere, rises to become the hero of the world. The battle is tough, but the country isn't willing to give up. For those that don't know, Hetalia is personification of the countries, making light of, but also teaching history. The struggles of the American race exist to this day, dealing with politics and wars abundant. All images are the respective property of their artists/photographers, and the song is by Michael Bolton. I intend no infringement, and only want to share the wonderful song with the world.

it makes me proud to be an american. if you look at how far we've come in just 235 years. its remarkable. its taken us over two hundred years to get this far where its taken most countries countless centuries. so yes i when i say i'm proud to be an american. i mean it and if you can't appreciate it then you need to be enlightened.

The picture at 1:01 nearly made me cry. I have a friend who is joining the National Guard. We've been besties since middle school. I know the National Guard isn't in as much danger as the soldiers in Iraq, but I help but be scared for her.
