Thanks for putting this together and posting it Cody. One thing I didn't catch from your video was that in order for SW to search the tool box data in the vault, you have to go to SW Options, Hole Wizard/Toolbox, and update the search path to the vault rather than to your own HD. Once I did this, it was all linked up as you showed in your video!

    Hi
    Thanks for the good video,
My question is about a different location for the vault from machine to another in my company . for example vault is stored in the C drive and my colleges are stored in the D drive. this creates an issue with a toolbox created part folder location. What you would suggest to us.
    My C drive is SSD

I noticed you are using McMaster Carr part numbers for your toolbox components. Assuming you didn’t input each one manually, can you tell me how to import the part numbers?

You can use Excel to import and export data, see 14:30

Is it possible to connect Solidworks 2015 Toolbox and PDM Standard ? I followed your instruction and on PDM side was everything perfect, but when I tried to do configuration of toolbox I got this message :"you don't have permission to to configure Toolbox"

      Hi Asim,
PDM Standard was released in 2016 so it is only rated/supported for use with versions of SOLIDWORKS 2016 and onward. Speaking purely in theory though, there is no particular reason this process couldn't work for a 2015 Toolbox if PDM Standard 2016 or 2017 were used to do it. It is not supported though so there may be issues with such a setup that would prevent it from working normally or at all.
You may wish to ask for assistance from your SOLIDWORKS vendor (VAR) as they may be able to assist you through the particulars of this setup.
