    Nicely done. Great example of expressive story telling throughout the fretboard. Not feeling locked into one pattern of a scale at a time , moving through them while recognizing the root notes and while keeping your timing with the backing track or metronome is super helpful to growing. Thank you.

    Outstanding lesson. Less is more, focusing on key notes and changing the pick pattern and timing. Very good for me to learn to a good backing track. Different techniques you illustrated got my attention. Thanks so much.

    Yeow, this is the best video I've ever seen about squeezing the most out of the Am pentatonic scale. All other vids are way too much talking, too much added stuff (Major scale etc) and "stupid fast" runs, too fast for us newbs to follow. I can follow this. I jammed along with you the whole way. All I can suggest for the future is a "call and response" video where we copy or complement your phrases. You specialize in "older" players you say. Well I'm as old as it gets (77 this month but I feel 47) so I'll test your stuff to the core! Thank you! Mike in Ontario.

    Dude, this is so cool, I'm going to deep dive into your Videos. I stopped playing years ago because I got my fret hand thumb twisted in a printing press, I never lost the love of music though, so for years I made and modified guitars for friends and myself, and suddenly after about 20 yrs, my thumb has started working correctly again and I'm watching your playing and I'm thinking I might be able to pull off some of these licks..I'm loving your Tone, I still have an old Fender Twin Reverb from the late 60's but I'm sure you're going into DAW or something, I would love to know how you're getting the sounds from that Yellow Strat.

    • @GuitarLessonsMadeEasy
      @GuitarLessonsMadeEasy  25 днів тому +1

      Hey I’m so glad your thumb is back working and your playing again also feel free to ask me anything about playing. The tone I get from a digitech gsp1101. And I also use Guitar Rig from time to time . I could send you my settings if ya like. All the best and thanks for the sub. ❤️❤️

      @@GuitarLessonsMadeEasy Oh boy, another effects box 😃, I have a Zoom G1X Four multi effects Pedal, a brand new Leo Jaymz Silver Box multi effects processor, 2 Positive Grid Spark Amps 1) 40 watt and 1) Spark Go as well as a Fender Mustang LT 25 Amp with multi effects, I think when I get some time, I'll make my own Settings in one or more of those, I was hoping you'd say "it's just a little Reverb and just a touch of Delay, with tone knobs on the Amp simulator at 12 o'clock..." it's cool I'll figure it out.

    What I see you hit notes out of the scale . But you just don't end on them or start on the correct?

    • @GuitarLessonsMadeEasy
      @GuitarLessonsMadeEasy  Місяць тому +1

      Hi Scott. Great question. So the two trouble notes we call them sometimes is B and F and the pentatonic scale leaves them out so you
      Can start and end on any note in the scale and you will be fine my friend. The reason F and B from the full Am scale sound bad at times is a whole other lesson but someday I will get a video on that up ❤
