How do you know where will zed appear after his r pleas?
zed appears behind the target from the perspective of his original position. so you'll be between him and the shadow that spawns at his cast location.

He will always appear behind your champ if im not mistaken

Hey im lux main any tips against Malzahar mid, im kinda strugglin against Malzahar
Ban him or buy Banshees veil early (like second item or Verdant Barrier as first half item), always try to dodge his q (silence one) - you can poke him and then run back or walk in when hes trying to land q (doesnt work always) and proc passive, also try to e the wave when he send out his voidlings (and kill it) so he cant push. you can use shield when you cant dodge q or when he uses e on you. try to poke him not proc your passive all the time, thats when you are most vulnerable (if hes on cd with his spells of course abuse it). after level 6 try not to get under half hp so he doesnt flash ult you also keep an eye on the enemy jg (especially after level 6). if he tries to push up to keep you off the wave punish him with e and last thing if hes low mana (so he cant use full combo) you can be more agressive of course be careful if its not a bait for enemy jg.
