  • Planets and stars can be really big, but they pale in comparison to some of the largest black holes out there. In this video, we take a look at the full size range of black holes, from collapsed stellar remnants the size of a city to the solar system-sized monsters that dominate galaxies.

Looks like S5 has been topped!
I've been thinking of doing another type of video as well as comparisons, maybe every week or two while uploading comparisons at the same rate as usual. If you have any suggestions let me know!
I've also started an instagram account, I'll be posting space related art as well as hints to future videos. Feel free to follow me there: instagram.com/harryevett_official/

But anywayyyyy before it would get close to us, the meteor will hit the earth or sun will become red giant and consume the earth, or we will just kill ourselves xD so many options, the black hole is the least probably.

Actually if we find ourselves inside the event horizon of an ultramassive black hole such as TON618 we are up to a better fate than if we find ourselves inside the event horizon of the smallest one. As a matter of fact, it would be impossible for us to stay alive by the time we get even close to the event horizon of a small black hole, as the sheer gravitational pull around it would spaghettify us instantly. As for the ultramassive ones, not only we would stay alive inside the event horizon, but we would also take much time inside its nothingness before we actually die. As we look back, a tiny little dot of light. At this time everything we've ever known and loved is already dead. We would be in the far future because of the time warp. Some even say that in the brink of entering the event horizon, one can actually behold the end of the universe. Some other say that we might live to tell the tale as we get spilled in a random location by the wormhole inside the ultramassive black hole. I don't have scientific knowledge enough to guess if this could be true, though.

There's actually a way. We can build a mirrored structure around the black hole (somewhat comparable to a Dyson Sphere), open a window in this mirrored structure, bombard the black hole inside it with electro magnetic waves and close the window afterwards. A small portion of it would be absorbed by the black hole, while the larger portion gets energized indefinitely by the gravitational pull of the hole inside the mirror trap. Then we open a new window large enough to recieve this super energized electro magnetic waves without decreasing the overall energy level inside the trap, keeping it constant. There we have it, ever lasting energy source.

      Thanks for the suggestion!
I'm actually looking to focus the channel more on content other than comparisons from now on (hopefully) so it's fine.

That was a really well done animation. You even synced the music with the wide shots for an ample movie experience. I, for one, want more science videos from you. Subscribed.

      Study islam, it's mindblowing
*Holy Qur'an* About the *Creator* of all worlds
      *42:5 Holy Qur'an*
The heavens almost burst apart above them [in awe of Him], and the angels glorify the praises of their Lord, and seek forgiveness for those on earth. Indeed, *Allah* is the All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
      *2:136 Holy Qur'an*
Say, O believers, “We believe in *Allah* and what has been revealed to us; and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants; and what was given to Moses, Jesus, and other prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them. And to *Allah* we all submit.”
