I love the bedding with the big 70s style flowers, I didn't see it when I went the other day but will be going back to get some. Also some of the stuff with the orange and yellow circles.
And the lights in the store so you can see what you are doing and the building of the store, and the plastic boxes and tables and the metal pots and pans and the display shelves and the fuel used for getting the workers there and the fuel used to get the customers there etc etc.....
@@kirstygriffiths749in the 70s I worked in a lancashire cotton mill. How I miss the bedding. Purple.orange.yellow.green.pink.brown. all in cotton and polycotton. Matching sheets, valance sheets, pillowcases.duvets and bedspreads. Fun banter with the other girls. I really miss it
That 70s style bedding is grotesque. I hate 70s style furniture and fabrics. It’ll be carpets with multi coloured swirls next. Ugh! There isn’t that much here that floats my boat to be honest. I’ll stick to my greys, blues and white.
We have a fabulous ikea kitchen, in a glorious dark green. £2000. Two stunning hermes bookcases in a dark red. Dark green velvet armchairs. All backed by a William Morris wallpaper, Honeysuckle, in a great Victorian barn conversion with original cast iron pillars supporting the ceiling, and floor length French windows with spectacular views over Welsh countryside. Happy, happy! Love Ikea. Great Pax wardrobes beautifully organised. Billy bookcases for hundreds of books complete with doors. Love Ikea.
We have simple wall unit just pine we had to varnish ( couldn't afford better one) and is still here over 40 years. What ever you can say about IKEA well organised cupboards...wardrobes...ect.
I can't believe the orange flowered bed linen, for heaven's sake, took me straight back to the seventies - it was hideous then, its not improved now...people had wallpaper like it too, I hated it all...
Just picked up two Billy in the new blue back but from the bargain corner - £42 each!! Very happy, only wanted one initially but then wanted extra shelves (which they only do in white at £10 each) so 42 quid for 4 extra shelves and a spare unit to put elsewhere seemed like a bargain.
Thanks, I've made one with 8 shelves into a shoe and boot rack in the porch. The other one is in the lounge and going to get glass shelves for it as a display cabinet.
I have seen 3 different IKEA kitchens within real homes and the owners are really happy with them. Not everyone has a huge budget and these are tested over and over again well before they hit the showroom .I would certainly buy an IKEA kitchen but unfortunately I have an odd shaped small kitchen that has got be bespoke made. Keeping it simple though with tongue and groove style cupboards 😊 Some of these expensive kitchens just look really heavy and sturdy, but not in a pleading way. And please no more grey - arghhh!,,😢

They also do it with bright yellow flowers as well ! Spotted in the bedding section 👍
@@kirstygriffiths749 Great, I love yellow.
All these plastic plants and flowers are awful for the environment.
How so?

Cannot beat Ikea for storage. A mixed bag here. Some I would definately purchase other pieces I would definately NOT haha.
Ditto ! Loved the new lighting and the new cushion cover and throws. The 70’s bits were just a bit ott
Long term fan especially your kitchens …but ….Oh dear IKEA …..what are you doing with your accessories?
Bright colours 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
I don’t dislike bright colours , just not a fan of play school style decor in my home
Love 70’s style bedding ❤
Maybe people are sick of depressing grey?
I wouldn’t really know about that, no ‘depressing’ grey in my house ( I don’t think grey is depressing)
I love the bedding!! I literally ran and I got the bedding and the cushion covers! They’re limited edition remakes from their 1971 catalogue 🌼🧡💛
Fab. Glad you got one ❤️🙏
Me too! I bought both the yellow and orange cushion covers - bedding was not available yet but will pick it up when back in stock!
Love the orange duvet cover
I like the duvet cover
I new someone would like it 👍

£2k kitchen ! Goodness me ❤️ 🏴
Ikea discovers the ‘70’s
The 1970's were Tacky!😮
That orange bedding is straight-up repulsive.
That looked like the duvet covers I took to college in the 70s😮
Very ‘ Abigail’s party ‘
too expensive, i'd never spend £1000 on a sofa its just sticks and foam, ikea used to be stylish and cheap now its all ugly stuff and over priced
very pricey tacky furniture etc
Going backwards with colours and styles
I agree. Some things just seemed a bit wacky
Yes, i agree. The coloured trolley was very expensive x
I don’t think the video shows how small it was.
Oh heck the ‘60 orange fabric back again hey ho

I also have a Billy bookcase that is 30+ years old. As good as new. It’s moved many times
Oh dear what a shame there are all those 70's colours and trends 🙄I really like Ikea's decor and room settings ..usually
Apparently these are from the 1971 catalogue?

That does sound like a real bargain 👍

Never been a fan of IKEA, especially their furniture and kitchen units! Thanks for confirming why I do not shop at IKEA!
Genuinely curious as to why you watched this, given your views on Ikea.
