That's Italians for you bud ;) even in small towns they do that its awesome to see how well they help each other out, like if one part dies the whole dies (imagine a clock, if one gear is defected the whole watch won't work...). All ethnicities should behave like this, and I know there are some other ethnicities that do this as well but most don't which is sad/messed up imo. We should all act like Italians, no wonder Rome was so powerful & lasted over 1,500 years they were Italians! The only bad part about this that I can come up with is the "Mafia" like side effect of being so well connected with each other... And most Mafia's were Italians unfortunately, but thankfully they stopped the crime aspect of their culture and are respected because of it. Not to mention Italian food my favorite along with Asian food!
I was sitting opposite a guy with italian heritage in our office and one day we started talking about pizza. He started to talk about the best mozzarella he knows, from this cheese place near the town he grew up in. Told me the story, that the son of the owner married his cousin. I showed him this episode and he immediately went: That's him! and he continued with telling me about the best pizza being from a pizzeria a bit outside of Naples. I skipped forward to Pepe in Grani and he nearly fell from his chair, because, yes that's the best pizza. So yeah this show is one of the greatest things on foodtube. BRING IT BACK!

Wh-what the heck I live in Brazil and there's a place very close to where I live where they sell "pastel", a food that varies across the country, but in this particular place... the "pastel" thing looks _exactly_ like pizza fritta. It's funny because in the Portuguese Wikipedia page it says that "pastel" originated from São Paulo... and both São Paulo and my state, Rio Grande do Sul, have a great population of Italian immigrant descendants. Pizza itself was introduced in the country in São Paulo. So it's not entirely unlikely that pastel might have been a re-brand of pizza fritta introduced by Italian immigrants.

ITALY, im watching this while eating Super Sureme Pizza and I pray for this Covid19 will be gone forever. Aamiin. Brother from Indonesia, also a Vespa P 100 TS rider.
Super! 👍
After ages this is the only 30min you tube video that i watched on normal speed & didn't fast forward. Damn what a raw honest video
Neapolitan Pizza looks so tasty, not drowned in cheese like American pizza.
Idk man a good slice isnt too cheesy. Theyre both good but I think NY perfected it
@@jamied931 I agree. I think it needs enough cheese to cover but only a light layer.
Why do you bring America into this? 😂
@Truth I don't know. I think they are pretty good if it sells for a lot. I for one is a huge cheese fanatic. We almost never get cheese in Vietnamese or bordering country cuisine that often which wouldn't satisfy my crave. Though when I go to places like France and America, the cheese is always insane with any type of food. That is why pizza drowned in cheese could be insanely good if you are a cheese lover. Just be wary of cheap pizza.

yo Frankie, baby, please we need a season 3. Also, more Italian adventures in the next season!
This is one of the best episodes. Frank is so awesome man.
Their passion, love and respect for the craft is infectious, almost made me cry!
That guy in the beginning has the best job in the world. He's literally a Pizzaolog.
I miss Naples already.....God, what a place...
I wish I'd gotten there, but I was extremely lucky to have seen Rome and Florence. What a country!
It is a great place to visit i agree , but its also a major shithole too
@@causetheplumstasteyum7848 why shithole? Campania and Napoli have largest amount of unesco properties in whole world, shitty hoods are everywhere , London, Los Angeles, even worst than Napoli
Wh-what the heck
I live in Brazil and there's a place very close to where I live where they sell "pastel", a food that varies across the country, but in this particular place... the "pastel" thing looks _exactly_ like pizza fritta. It's funny because in the Portuguese Wikipedia page it says that "pastel" originated from São Paulo... and both São Paulo and my state, Rio Grande do Sul, have a great population of Italian immigrant descendants. Pizza itself was introduced in the country in São Paulo. So it's not entirely unlikely that pastel might have been a re-brand of pizza fritta introduced by Italian immigrants.
nice take! tb sou brasileiro
@@pitangateles fora Lumena e Projota
Frank Pinello and his production team produced a most outstanding program on Naples, Italy - the beautiful, passionate and authentic birthplace of PIZZA!!!!
It's very much alright to take pride in doing an exceptionally good job!
These "pizzaiolo" (hope i spelled it correctly), should be praised for their work, keeping the legacy of real pizza alive! Respect!
*pizzaioli since you are intending it as plural
Italian it's an incredibly beautiful language.

Finally you are where the pizza belongs!! I love italy! Good show, keep it up my friend.
Hilco88 pizza doesn’t “belong” anywhere. it’s pizza.
yes it does, that is Napels Italy.
New York has the best pizza in the world. They improved greatly on what Italians invented, and then Chicago tried to improve pizza even more but failed miserably.
djhenyo who says so? Its about taste, and it always tastes better where it originates from
djhenyo haha, no, Italian pizza is the best by miles.
such humble people. this was amazing to watch. I come back to watch this so often and I still get amazed
Eating these pizzas would truly be gold experience
I do it every 2-3 mnths

My man Luciano brought a whole new meaning to "earwig"
Season has peaked. Can't get any better than this!!
...and then he goes to Roma!

Neopolitan is by far the best type of pizza out there. It's the original of all pizzas. Nothing in America can come close to what Naples has.
Beautiful people of Naples--a rich culture with awesome history; look forward to visiting!
i love to see the man who is very happy about his friend's succes he tried to describe everything about his friend how he started.....
We are proud of what we do bro, if everyone does good of his job, theres no jealousy each other

@House of Savoy Ethnic Italians can also look African and look "Black".
@House of Savoy If someone who looks African has any Italian blood then they can be ethnic Italian.
@House of Savoy Black and White are not racial identities. What's the difference between someone with fair skin, blonde hair blue eyes saying their African/Black and someone with dark skin and chocolate colored skin saying their African? You don't have to look a certain way to be ethnic African or European
Insane. I love it. All of the best ingredients coupled with a passion for light, spongy yet crispy crust. One of my favorite episodes.
I used to live in Naples as a child, I really need to go back
Italy is heaven on earth for food lovers.
No India is.. or Africa lol. Italy is nothing but floured foods.

What I love about this show that everybody thinks frank is some journalist. But no, they got a pizzaiolo, with a fancy cullinary degree to host this show. As a result the chefs and owners they show are constantly surprised by how knowledgeable and skilled frank is and this creates a wonderful dynamic.
im trying to imagine how that old guy with eye glasses reacts when he saw pizza with pineapple toppings.

In naples the pizza is not a product but its the "philosophy of life" wow,
Loved it no wonder pizza is one of my fav things in d whole world .
Yes sis, we care a lot about our great quality food and how people enjoy eating it. Come to Napoli sometimes, you will never regret in a lifetime
I don´t think people really understand how frigging hot that water is at min 13:30 . he said is around 94 degrees celsius, which means around 200 Fahrenheit. Doing Mozzarella the traditional way requires hands of steel!
