Power tripping clowns. I was an admin on multiple servers like a decade ago and if someone sent any of these to me I'd laugh my ass off and, at most, tell them "don't harass other players with this" before letting them go. Even back then I had several other admins be overly strict clowns like these ones, one of them even banned a guy for managing to bhop into the admin situation from a roof top (without scripts), that guy did the same to me days earlier and i found it hilarious and we became friends.

One of the servers I was an admin for had countless power tripping admins that would talk to players like they were beneath them just cause they have admin rights on a Gmod server of all things, they even did it to me before I went from player to mod to admin in the course of 2 weeks due to actually PLAYING on the server and not being a dickhead to everyone. The comments they'd make in the private admin chats were also revealing. People power trip with the smallest bit of power it's a sad reality and it's made worse when the owners have overly strict rules for everything.

Admins/Mods are not being forced to "work" there, they just decided they want to keep the server cleaner, get rid of mic spammers and annoyances quicker. I really liked to play deathrun some years ago, I was a mod for a year and an admin for 2 years. Got to meet a lot of nice people there and it was surely fun. Perhaps people in the comments shouldnt say playing games is a waste of time, because it isnt much different from social media, including youtube.
