When I purchased my electric car I added solar panels to my roof to primarily home charge through the standard Tesla charger . I spend $29 a month for the electricity to operate it. I typically put about 1000 miles a month on the car. I look at my 2017 Model S as an economy car, not a luxury car. For those interested, the car is getting close (late September) to 5 years old and has 60k miles on it. The only expenses so far, knocking on wood, have been a set of tires from Tirerack (tires without sound deadening foam were cheaper and you won't notice the noise impact). The only other expense was the accessory battery. I also get free supercharging.
Great info, I know so many people who need this info…. Solar is for sure the way to go. The power company(ies) have a weirdly strong grip on us, so it’s fabulous to have healthy and cost effective options.
I created Solar power too. It is copper plates under glass to keep the metal from expanding, that causes motion that generates electricity. Usually, you want a battery for electricity storage. Which is typically salt water in most cases.
Yes, I am working to install a solar power system with batteries in preparation to buy an EV. My #1 reason to do this is to become energy independent. The US grid is a patchwork of local grids with the potential to disappear with no backup for consumers.

Suggestion, go to Los Angeles, and talk to ibabyrainbow about a car auction, to buy a car with an Air Plane engine in it, do some small work to remove the grill and extend out the propellor so you can have a car plane.
Hey, I like that video I see, where they are finally releasing the self-driving Tesla's I had built at the same time as the regular Tesla's, so all of the Tesla's could already have self-driving technology in them and almost all of them do, but people would have to turn on their self-driving option, if they read the instuctions, on how to do it.
Air conditioners, use a tiny engine, that cause all the heat discharge to blow out outside, while all the cooler air gets directed inside. So basically, everyone using air conditioners are forcing outside to be hot.
Hello you need to get your videos cranked back up.. Hope all is well!! I have a question for you I have the full download of FSD. I made a drive that I usually do about every two weeks of 310 miles. MD to OBX NC. I got 2 dings so 3 left do you know if they clear out after 30 days? Or maybe next release? Not sure if they crank the sensitivity up that or what but I always keep two hands on the wheel and crank on the pods if necessary. It really kind of bummed me out. It almost makes you afraid to use the full driving. But I don't want to do that because I want to keep giving feedback on my drives. Any thoughts? Hope all is well!! Thx Tim

This is a good reason to be sold on it, the grid will eventually become obsolete someday as we can have individual power solutions

Car planes are way better than Tesla Electric cars. Because they need way more work to become a Plane
