Who we? You definitely can't speak for everyone, because simply you wouldn't know who listened to these songs and how many of them . The comment still stands, retro songs in new films have always played a big part in spreading and reviving old songs within younger communities. Plus, Karan Johar's movies are very popular outside India, international bollywood fans like me learns more about the culture from his movies, now they get to know old songs as well. I mean I searched for the 2nd song because of this medley so...
