Saving Fish & Turtles From ABANDONED POND!

- In today's video, I come across an abandoned pond that has been neglected for YEARS and the fish inside are still alive! We searched this abandoned house looking for the pond that was tipped off to us, and when we discovered it we saw 2 massive arowanas and many more fish inside! We netted them out of this green slime pond and transported them back to my house to save them! We ended up catching angel fish, arowana, baby turtles, axolotls, cichlids, guppies, and more! Should we go back for a part 2 to see what else is living inside of this abandoned pond?

Yes, go back there again! Some cool fish in there! I love you caught guppies and angel fish. I'm so envious, as we don't even have a local fish shop here. Closest is nearly 100 miles..that's country miles btw. No highways till that, here in northern NY. I'd (not really :)) kill to be able to just go out and catch some tropical fish, like you guys do! Anyhow, can't believe there were arrowanas in there too! Great video guys, thanks! Looking forward to another from that abandoned property! Oh, and would love to know what kind of turtle that is. He's adorable! Call him Burt.
Someone needs to “save” that gorgeous fountain too! How sad that it’s hidden away and no one can enjoy it. But it would cost a small fortune to move it. Great video guys!

It's a shame that property is as run down as it is, you can tell it was gorgeous in its day. The inside looks salvageable though (from the tiny bit we saw) just insanely overgrown & she needs a face lift lol

The tiger salamander and axolotl are related, but the axolotl never metamorphosizes into a terrestrial salamander. However, it's possible to force an axolotl to undergo metamorphosis. This animal looks like a tiger salamander, but the metamorphosis is unnatural and shortens the animals lifespan.
It's pretty odvious Its a Melanoid Axolotl he put there.
I bought a mud puppy at a pet store long time ago, soon after i brought it home it morf.into a tigar salamander. It lived to be over 20 yrs old. I fed it flying grass hoppers , crickets & pinky mice. Ive read that some do morf & some dont. It all depends on its diet & environment. I miss him so much. I have owned other tiger salamanders but none lived as long as the mud puppy

This is EASILY one of my favorite videos on the channel, and the craziest. I mostly love the fact that you caught a ton of things that you don't usually catch, so it's super cool to see all those fish again. Also, you definitely have to go back, one of the most loaded spots I think we've seen on the channel.

BOBBY PLZ READ!! For the ABANDONED PONDyou should get a 20ft seine net… they are really big and you could get all the fish out. A 20ft one would work rlly well!!
You lads are so wholesome, I love your videos. Please keep filming your rescues, even if they don't always go well that just shows the reality of the situation. I've rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed a few animals at this point and that was just off my own back. I need to know there are more people out there that do what they can, you remind me that there are people out there who do good just to do good. So happy I found your channel.

You should probably put something for those smaller fish in the predator pond to hide in, that way they have time to start breeding before the predators eat them all

I remeber a breeder i used to buy fish from, her arwoana was like so big that it was almost as big as the mini pond she puts it in, sadly she didnt sell it but dam that was so big, and long asf, it looked so cool and sick, but she told stories adout it, she also feeds her large or small goldfish to that arwoana, she also. Said that arwoana was a biter, it eats everything, i used to buy mollies and guppies from her but she sadly moved shops i dont know where tho, she never told me.

Im not entirely sure, but I believe that infact is an axolotl, but it is slowly losing its gills turning into a salamander like amphibian. It's a very rare experience, but it can happen if a axolotI isnt in a healthy environment. I also think that maybe the previous owners of the house had axolotls and put them in the pond, not knowing that it is highly dangerous for the axoltols. But no matter what type of amphibian this is, I loved this video! And the turtle is adorable! I also have a name suggestion for the amphibian/axoltol, Larry 😂, and if your taking name suggestions for the turtle, Shelly. Great job guys!

@@YourLocalGinger_ no problem! I've been telling him forever that they aren't axolotls. And I mean, who cares really what they are called. I guess the word is fun to say to the guy idk. But the care for the 2 animals is world's apart so that's why it matters. Axolotls are only found in one part of the world, Mexico. And in a very certain spot. The water stays cold and the parameters are pretty specific. They simply can't live in warmer conditions.
I'll be waiting for part 2 of the fountain sight. I love those guppies, they have great coloration.

Awesome vids! Love the effort and dedication! Only thing, axolotls only live in the wild in Mexico, and unless the previous owner bought an axolotl, it isn’t likely that that is one. Store-bought axolotls we’re bred with a subspecies of salamanders to make them suitable for homes, and they require very specific water temp and ph levels. Since this salamander was alive, it likely isn’t an axolotl and would be a juvenile salamander. Regardless, love your vids! Keep up the good work!
