Ideally you'd want to be able to make the boost level tied to the gear ratio like they do in alot of real world drag applications. This will give you the ability to minimize wheelspin at the launch then really feed it in as you go downtrack.
i love the begining torque how realistic it is, reminds of those crazy tractor pulling competitions where the engines are so strong they bend entire multi ton trucks like nothing
Sup everybody. I just want to say congratulations to me because I successfully pulled 10 48ft trailers the other day😅😅 Set the free cam on the ground and watched them roll by a few times👌🏾 so cool
use the splitter a bit better and you could get the hang of it. I usually do 1L - 2L - 2H - 3L- and so on. it's not worth using 1H unless you want to start out in it but at that point the way its geared 2L would work better with more top end grunt, but you would need to have 4.44:1 diffs for that. don't take my word for it I only know crappy farm trucks not games or nice trucks that aren't about dead
I think people confuse the splitter on the T-series for a rangebox like you'd find on a 4x4. Players need to learn how the splitter works, and bind a button on the controller for it. Personally I used Y, since it's default function is opening the map, and it's near the default shifting buttons For accelerating as fast as possible, I'd probably go 1L-2L-3L-3H-4L-4H-5L-5H given the torque this truck in the video is making. But if you've got a really anemic rig, it's worth splitting 2 as well.
So why do you not make extra power. Since with each consecutive turbo, the boost should increase by at least a noticeable amount. Is that something with the setup of the turbos? Or was it something else
I would love to see this with an 18-speed manual transmission. I also would love to see a comparison of heavy loads going up a steep grade or mountain/inclination.
Really for this application, with insane boost levels like this, 5 or 6 speed automatic would be the better choice for drag racing. It's still take a manual for over the road.
@@kleetus92 You may be right. However, I'm not really a big fan of drag racing semis. I find it more awesome and exciting when I see how much a semi can pull and how quickly it go up a steep mountain with a heavy load.
After all, it's more fun to do stupid modifications that wouldn't be possible in real life and do things like top speed tests than things like carrying luggage.
If you behave bad in this life, you will reborn as a drive shaft joint in this truck
If you change gears as intended you will have much better speed and it wont bog down nearly as much. 1L-1H-2L-2H-3L-3H and so on
low range is useless when you're traction limited in high range already, besides you'll just loose time with the constant shifting
@@abserk He would gain more time than he would lose by staying in peak rpm range the whole time instead.
@@MmmmmmmmEarHairwould also benefit from locking the diffs and inter axel. While I enjoy the content, not always setting up for success
when mustard finally learns how semi transmissions work (like I just did), it's over for you fools
@@MmmmmmmmEarHair he would also gain more time by ditching the trailers

It's called boost by gear.
It exists on car drag racing but do they also do this on semi truck drag racing?
3:06 The camera is shaking
I take it the drivetrain is made of 100% adamantium 😂
unobtainium
Nah, more like Virtualium.
And the engine block bot how is it still functioning
You know its gonna be good when Forgotten Mustard posts a vid
I love how it makes 1.5+ psi while idling
i love the begining torque how realistic it is, reminds of those crazy tractor pulling competitions where the engines are so strong they bend entire multi ton trucks like nothing
you mean the low rpm torque?
you know what i mean@@raseri9
Or the engine just outright pops, esecially on those diesel pull tractors.
you can split gears using the transfer case so it's an actual 10 speed and not a 5 speed
Forgotten Mustard, please release this as a mod. PLEASE
I always wondered if these get turned into mods ,i guess not, its a missed opportunity though.
At the end of the video, they say they're going to release it on the repository.
@@thomascortes968 oh I didn't see that ,👍thx for the heads up
Thats what your average Road Train in Australia hauls. (4 trailers)
YES ! weird extreme dumb superturbocharged engines videos are back ! 😍
I didn’t think I’d hear a T series bounce off the rev limiter. Kickass
The splitter: am I a joke to you?
least craziest diesel owner
Mooooooooooow powwwwwaaaaa babyyyyy
6:26 road train speeding by
Can you do that with an unloaded Truck?
I really dont know why you dont release any of these mods on the rep
Gotta love the sound of that compound turbo
When your turbo is as big as your windshield, it’s gonna be fun
I love it. Truly American
How many horsepower with diesel power of compound triple turbos?
Forjado no quito dos inferno 😂
That's some serious axle hop
nice one, when you gonna put it in the repository
How do I get this I neeed it
This setup is insane
I like the Dayton Chicago wobblers!
Did you create this engine in automation?
Is a 100k subscriber special planned ?
Just keep doing giant turbos on stuff please ❤
Is there a inline 8 on this game? They are rare to find but sound amazing
Turbo bearing lube plumbing has left the chat

What a glorious sound
Do the same concept, but with the automatic transmission. That would be an interesting comparison.
How do you make custom engines like this?
How has this engine not blown up from so much boost, Is it indestructible?
Not indestructible but it can take a lot more power than the stock one.
@@ForgottenMustard Make a covet with a ship engine
How do you make super powerful engines?
Another Crazy creation!
Sounds exactly like my beloved 330d

Just installed this on my t series in career mode lol. Even NA the engine makes decent power
Ive been waiting for one like this, nice
Poor Turbos, running without Oil :D
as some others have said use the high-low like a splitter. its much fast and efficient
That is crazy

why does turbo rpm stay the same even when engine rpm increases?

I think we need on the Test Level a 350ft dirt track and a trailer from a Tractor Pull contest in a update.
How can I install that mod
How can i See the power curve left Upper one the Screen

man, how do u turn on those detailed informations (flywheel torque, mpg, etc) ?
search for it in the UI apps
What is the name of the mod to weigh the trailer?
where can i download?

some trucker in Thailand be like:
1st low then 1st high would have less wheel spin
when you got to the 70 pound of boost now that start to roll good
Can you do a vid without load
Can BeamNg actually replicate a true 18 wheeler transmission? 18 gears?
I think they have a 12 or 10 speed
I mean it can, this truck just doesn’t have one as an option but modders can make an 18-speed trans. Anyone can if you know how to mod the game.
18 speed Trans would help
the train at home:
Make it a tri-turbo with cruise ship turbo
If you ever manage to build an engine that can widthstand PSI=JUPITER then sure... that thing is good for 2000+bhp
Real world we actually run 80 to 100 psi of boost in our c15s single turbo
The Quad-Turbo Diesel is BMW

Quite painful to watch the splitter box used incorrectly. Can't believe it bothered me enough to leave a comment! What have I become?! 😂
Make it into sequential twin turbo instead
Shame you didn’t tested without a trailer 🤦🏻♂️
This is my problem with star trek, you don't see people doing things like this with their replicators!
mod?
Now do 20 trailers
It doesn't matter his gear ratio. He's only making ~40lbs of boost. A stock C15 will do that irl. That compound mod is not working

How do you get the trailers hooked on each other so easily? I can’t seem to get it right
