MWIII was fun , always was excited for Wednesday for the new aftermarket part and the events for the mastery camos . Bo6 does not even have 1 universal camo we could earn from events.

So I have a theory, I believe that this event has been going on since last week. I would be playing nuketown holiday 24/7 and would have some enemies glow yellow. I though that it was a weird glitch. Now after playing the new event, I have noticed that the glow for the archie and the glow that certain enemies had are exactly the same. I don't know if someone messed up on their end but how does this happen for the event.
Play zombies directed mode, get 7 or 8 archies from the 4-5 waves, then save and quit, reload and repeat. Seems like there is a massive drop off in earning after 7-8 archies have been picked up in a match.

Yeah I agree, because I remember the older cods having weird challenges just to unlock a specific gun or by the bundle. They could improve on the events but this also gives all players a better opportunity to unlock it.
The event is 110% busted. I've been playing BO6 on gamepass all the way to prestige 9 and got zero archies while a friend at Prestige 3 has 10 thousand archies, enough for about 40 people. Byfar the worst event they've released and I didnt even mention how some of the new modes like Jingle Hells play out...
All they need to do is have the event, then drop the bundle as soon as the event is over. If you didn’t play the event/ didn’t earn enough that bundle is the only way u’ll be able to get that weapon. A little cynical? Yes. But the results would be better. There’s no incentive to play the event if you can get the main event with cash

1:34 the blackcell just being the bp skin but instead of giving it in the battlepass you pay $30 for, you have to play the event. They literally took it out of the battlepass to use it as an event reward. This game keeps getying better every update.

Its a no win situation. When I logged on I had zero. Even after playing a fair bit last week. So i felt a bit shitty for having none, when I saw people already using the weapon. However it's given me something to play for, the past few days. I need about 40-50 to complete the event and finally get my hands on it. There will always be microtransactions in CoD. You can't stop people deciding what they spend their money on either. They could buy it instantly or grind for a few hours and get it for free. People will decide how much their time is worth with their wallets.
So uh…i figured out that you can get the jolly archies in private matches Edit: They don’t count to anything, they just appear and you’re able to collect them but its not banking them.
I’d rather that be the first to happen, I went 3 matches without finding 1 of those Archie collectibles. The best way I’ve noticed to get them are in zombies and that’s gonna take forever.
And the earn rate doesn’t even track right like it’s supposed to. Only get one Archie for every 10+ kills in Zombies, and got 1 every 5 kills in Multi and that’s about it. And if you don’t pick them up immediately, they disappear after about 5 seconds, which makes zombies pointless to try to get them on.
The funny thing is when I check the event after finish a zombie game and I got like thousands of points to redeem stuff, which totally make the event pointless because I don't need to grind s***

I was wondering what was happening, I got in and had over 1400. But while I was unlocking rewards it crashed my game and said I left a ranked match and was penalized. Didn't take the Archie's away though and could still unlock everything.

I doubt it's been some secret hidden early progression, I've been playing most days, and when the event went live, I had exactly, one archie. Thought it was strange, but whatever. Until seeing other people start the day with thousands. And the event works normal (ignoring the whack start to it) as far as I could tell. Playing zombies, over the course of about 25 rounds plus exfil after, I saw nine individual archies drop seemingly randomly from the zombies, had to walk over them to pick them up, and checking after that game did correctly have the total of ten considering my bugged start of one. This event seemed, alright, could be better could be worse, and yet somehow the ball was dropped for this too from the event itself and once again handling the bundle for new gun. Just, wow...
You are the second content creator that I've seen that's had everything already unlocked meanwhile the rest of us have to grind our asses off to get these new weapons/attachments. This, to me, feels like COD is continuing to cater to their big content creators. I play every day, and I was playing the day the Archie event dropped I started with 0. i think its evident that there's a blackcell operator in the event so if you already have the vault edition of the game you have access to everything already
They really went 3 for 3 for weapons by timegating them and putting them in the shop before the event I over so you can use them earlier than most people

Common sense says that if they wait until after an event when everybody now has said weapon for free, sales will be down drastically for a bundle with that weapon. Of course they will sell these weapons before the event ends, as would any business that is trying to make money (aka every business). We have been collecting aechie statues in holiday rush. I had over 31000. I play all modes and probably loot more than the average player. Not sure if you could get them anywhere else. I had a hunch when i saw them dropping in that event that this was gonna happen. To bad we couldn't buy double xp tokens for 500 or something
They have been in warzone for awhile and other game modes people have been collecting them for awhile so they say they messed up but not really
Not sure why people didn’t expect this from the new weapons. Common sense says that if they wait until after an event when everybody now has said weapon for free, sales will be down drastically for a bundle with that weapon. Of course they will sell these weapons before the event ends, as would any business that is trying to make money (aka every business). Well it may annoy some consumers, it’s logical from a business point of view.
I played one game and got 750 trophies, unlocked everything in my first game of the event
I only get 1 or 2 frenzy per game in multiplayer. I have to grind for nearly 300 game to unlock everything. This is just too much for casual players
