  • If the casualty has suffered minor burns to the head, use the following alternative technique to bandage the casualty's head injury.
    1) Using a moist triangular bandage, fold an inch of the base of the bandage
    2) Put the bandage above the victim's head, with the base of the bandage just above the eyebrows
    3) Cross both ends of the triangular bandage on the back of the head, with the tip of the bandage on the bottom of or tucked in the crossing
    4) Bandage to the forehead, tie a knot and tuck the loose end
    5) At the back of the casualty's head, pull the tip of the triangular bandage gently, then fold and tuck.
