It's originally made using banana leaf as its wrapper.
This tutorial will help you make lontong without banana leaf. All you need is rice that has been soaked overnight, food-grade plastic bags, and a deep pot (I use a pressure cooker here).

This is a toxic way to make lontong.. all the microtoxins leaching out of the plastic bag. Not a good technique.
