Well done Shane and guest's you'd swear Verney was only one in country with a child. One he has Henry shefflin has 5 and can manage an inter county team half the country away. Under the thumb no doubt that he couldn't make an hour free on a Monday
I'd move Noel into 6 (most 11s now operate as 3rd man midfielders so he can play in a Hannon/Conlon QB role) Ronan Maher 5, Breen 7, J. Ryan, Conolly, Morgan/Barrett FB line. Your back 6 sit with the exception of 5 & 7 who have permission to move forward, Bowe & D. Kelly midfield, Morris at 11 with permission to roam, McCormack & Bonnar 10 & 12, O'Connor, Kehoe, Forde FF line. 10 & 12 work back, 11 roams & inside forwards play in a triangle with constant rotation.
Shane, ye might discuss at some point; Is there a problem with the sliotar this year? Byrnes missing frees, Jason Forde, Pat Horgan? A lot of the points scored have been fairly close range. Anything hit from distance drifting wide, with the odd exception. Could be that it is not as forgiving, anything other than100% on the money and it's sliding off. I know Pat Horgan commented on it a year or so ago. Could there be an issue back? Limerick man here. Ye might be a bit hard on Tipp. I think it was hard for Tipp to come all guns blazing after Peter Casey' injury. Limerick players definitely affected and I think Tipp were even more affected. Reminded me of the time Edinburgh had to play Munster after Axel Foley's death. If something happened in the 50th minute of Clare Limerick would we be having the same conversation about Limerick? I think ye can do well against Waterford. Davy is a bluffer and will be found out, but some good players on that Waterford team
Tipp did a lot right in the first 25 minutes....not really it just takes limerick a while to wind up in games. Most teams stay with them til half time.
whatever about 5 in a row, Limerick have a record to go for in Munster first.....6 in a row....Cork have done 2 x 5 in a rows but never 6. Can Limerick deliver?
Limerick are still throwing the ball but not as bad as before. One Dublin goal should have been disallowed as a player was in the Carlow square, One goal for Clare should have disallowed as the ball was thrown in the lead up. The referee in Galway was playing for a draw as TJ should have got as free in the end when he was badly fouled and Galway got the free instead to draw the game. Cahill should not have said that there would be consequences. That was stupid. Two games decided by the referee this week end and three last week end. Liam Burke
Rubbish, they are not throwing ball, it's just jealousy, Dumb comment, They had massive fouls and big hits going I'm on them all game, no mention of that, They are fantastic team and hurlers, they play so much as a team and not for glory, Incredible team! 🎉
You are dead right ref.s now deciding games Some terrible decisions in Pairc ue Caoimh Connolly @ Hoggie hauled back when goals were on.And when Will refs stop this arm around the players when they are breaking through as happened regularly against Tipp .Terrible poor refing in my opinion.I think the booing in Pairc Ue C. which is not nice says alot
@@fonz114 No one is denying they are a great team, but its poor form to call it a dumb comment. He's not the only one with that opinion and its not just Limerick if that makes you feel better, its all across the game. I hate all the handpassing in the modern game and there were several examples yesterday of four or five of them in a row, all executed so fast that it looks like throwing. Is that really hurling? I would love to see some close up camera work on these passes to see how much palming of the ball is actually involved. For me, horrible to watch that like something borrowed from basketball. Hurling should be all about stick work, first touch, long, short striking whatever it is- that's what has made the game so great to watch. Handpassing and over carrying the two worst parts of the game today without question. Look what hand passing did to Gaelic football, an awful game to watch now with nothing but hand passes all day long, players afraid to kick the ball and losing the ability to kick it. Commentators calling 'brilliant' points when someone kicks the ball over the bar from 30 yards. And what relevance is the 'massive hits and fouls' to the handpassing comment? Limerick dish out just as much as they take and pretty much win the physical battle in every game so how is that relevant? And not playing for glory? Of course they are playing for glory - the glory of winning an all Ireland medal - that's what everyone is playing for. Nothing wrong with that and like the Dublin footballers it looks like Limerick have managed to be very successful at that and keep their feet on the ground which is the key to their ongoing success.
@@deise5989if anything the comment makes out Limerick are improving passing the ball legally. It's not a stupid comment - it's a dense comment with referring in general being the main issue/application of rules. I won't argue the standard of reffing is poor but to dismiss Limerick as just a great team rather than one of greatest teams of all time is slightly dismissive. Ref has more power in hurling than rugby and that's not a good thing.

The Offaly man slating Tipp, temporarily forgetting he is in fact from 2nd tier Offaly.
Declan Doolan I think galway and kilkenny played each way in the leinster championship
